I'm really scared to try these as my system is running hell fast with 78.05.

So does anyone have some comparisons between 78.05 and 79.11 on a 6800?

havent posted in a long time but had to report my findings so far with these. world of warcraft runs spectacular with them. Even in ironforge auction house for the first time i had no lag at all. images are noticeably sharper as well. No problems on any game ive tried. these are keepers for me so far.

No noticeable differences here compared to 78.01 (6600GT). Actually gave a bit lower score in AquaMark...

Update: Well, apparently I remembered wrong and these 79.11's seem to be fastest so far. Wasted some of my spare time testing bunch of "good" drivers in Aquamark, results:

    77.77 - 46047
    78.01 - 45984
    78.03 - 46420
    78.05 - 46479
    79.11 - 46536

So I guess I'm keeping these after all :)

Well yeah no big difference compared to 78.03/78.05 but compared to 78.01/77.77 it starts to be a bit noticeable :) So, if you're using one of those those beta drivers and are satisfied with them, there's quite little reason to update.

I have tried most of the other drivers in that bench and can say without question that these run better than any of them for me.
I just got civ 4 and it works great with them too. seen on ign boards that many people were having problems but its running flawlessly here.

BEST IQ i ever got in games
    tried
    Far cry
    COD 2
Halflife 2 (look at IQ in video stress test ex the wall behind the screens has nothing to do with many other Drivers textures are very clean and crisp less alised)
    also very good performer
note that they are also muvh better in video reading (Xvid videos are cleaner too)
really install il, look at IQ

Well, I compared the 81.85's with the 81.87's in CoD2 and found the 85's ran faster.

Anyone able to compare the 79.11's with the 81.85's in CoD2 please?

Will these stop the stuttering in halflife 2?

I'm wondering if this is a good driver for my BFG 6800 GT OC 256mb PCI-E card....... i had gotten a driver from nvidia.com and i screwed things up i had to put in the cd and go back to the old driver..... but i need a better driver (as bfg2 says to update)....... im hearing positive things about the 79.11 but im wondering if theres anything better for my card..... i'd like performance and quality...... both

all you can do is try them. like ive said for me these have by far been the best drivers ive ever used. both quality and performance wise.
just be sure to use driver cleaner before installing any new drivers.

I've been using these since the 81.85 and 81.87's cause random bsod's in guild wars (fresh windows installation). Nothing to complain about, performance and IQ are fine. I'd prefer the 8x.xx series but like I said, that's not an option at this point.

Which of these are best for BF2?? These, or the newer 81.89s? (yeah, leaked 81.89)

Or, just in general, which of all drivers that support the 7800GT are best for BF2.

    I have a FX53, 1 GB RAM, 7800GT, BFG nForce4 Ultra. Thanks!

Do these have vsync on working in SLI in D3D games or is that only a 8x.xx driver feature/improvement?
