Nvidia ForceWare 185.20!!

The 32bit version is better then Vista 64, just saying. It recognizes all my RAM too.

No Ambient Occlusion setting on my control panel. Running Windows 7 build 7000.

Also I have the same problem with the 3D settings dropdown boxes. lol They won't drop down.

It may recognize all ur ram, but it cant use it, it will only be able to use 3-3.5

Thats what vista SP1 and Windows 7 does in 32 bit so people cant complain about lack of ram.....its a trick, thats all, making you believe it can see it all when it indeedly cant.

On that fact Windows 7 32 will never be better than Vista 64, cause i can use all my 8 gigs

Too bad the nvidia scaling dont work.

Anyone know the reg key or something?

noob, question i installed win7 build 7000 got the 185.20 driver in ran dxdiag.exe it shows it's runing DX11 do i install the nov 2008 update or don't install

 

uh oh, was playing crysis and got a system service exception bsod. google says thats caused by a video driver not paging correctly to the swap file. oh please dont let these drivers be bad, not only did i break 10k on vantage, but i can play crysis on high detail now with decent frames (could only do medium before)

note, yes, AO does kill the frames, but it does look oh so nice. i wish i had the gpu power to use it all the time

 

Another update.. I had to take these out.. Could not play COD WAW, kept getting weird ingame messages.. that plus my monitors being reversed, say a no go for me..

Bakc to 181.00 and all's normal.

Got a nogo on x64 here.. Drop down boxes, check boxes.. all of it was screwed. Crashed system when changing out of 256 color mode. Back to 181.00's..

 

This driver have a really really good iq and the performance is also good!!!

BUT, you must use nhancer to change game profiles because the drop down menus are broken in the profiles page.

AND the fixed scaling dont work.

Anyway i keep this, look at FO3 or COD4/WAW and also Grid.

Good iq, maybe nearly the magic 77.77 in the past...

 

People keep saying they are having trouble with the drop down menu's in the profiles, but mine work fine. In fact I've been running these all day playing a few different games and had no issues at all with them.

 

It's always nice with a new graphic feature.

Lol - with Ambient Occlusion on you can see through smoke in counterstrike source.

 

why doesnt Ambient Occlusion work in windows 7 build 7000 x86? It works for me in win vista x86.

 

I just got out of 2 hours of Fallout3 and while the game looked "smoother"
I saw that I was locked on 60 fps.So I went to CP to check the VertSync
and found I couldn't get any game drop downs.
Not only that but, I can't get Precision to run in OSD.
First problems I've had with a driver in a long time

 

My fps dropped considerably in Gta4 otherwise it runs fine.
I dont see any ambient occlusion option, not available for windows 32 bit sp3 ?

 

Vista or higher atm.

 

Crysis WarHead also runs great for me on these.

Evga Precision and its OSD work fine for me, and all gameprofiles also work so I dont know why some are having those issues. I downloaded the driver from laptopvideo2go, maybe those with problems downloaded from elsewhere and maybe the files in question have some files corrupted or something???

 

Anyone know how much Ambient Occlusion affects performance?

Going to try later just wondering for those who have them installed to test.
