When I installed, it refused to go back into Windows.......back to 180.84 for me!!
benchmarks added to my original post on first page.
Are they the WHQL ones? Cause I see nothing on nvidia's WHQL driver download page.
nope, at least in windows XP the "installing not signed driver" pops up when installing
Does not support GTX 295 ... useless crap
i dont see the "ambient occlusion" option in XP.
in which language r u installing? maybe its bcs of XP @_@
btw to the guy above, it does support gtx 295, at least .inf says so
What a useless crap post...
You dont have a GTX295, so whats the point?
I'm guessing you don't know who ORB is but he probably does have a GTX 295.
I am not 100% sure but it might be that it is only supported in games than support DX10.
Thanks bokloz for the update and AuDiofreak39 for all the info and links.
Removed physx software and uploaded vista x64 driver only (file size 89MB):
Netload (600 KB/s free user avg.)
Note: the installer took a little longer (+30 seconds) than usual to install for me.
ps. This is the international version.
I confirm no AO option in XP with my 8800M GTX..
we still have a week to go.
Well who the hell cares who he is. Hilbert obviously used GTX 295 supporting drivers for his review, so if the ORB person is so special then why doesn't he have the pre beta drivers too? If he is a person reviewing hardware then what the hell is he doing posting useless crap. ORB's post is the only useless one since he's the only person on the planet with one hehe. (Screenshot or it didn't happen though) These are good news for me since I'm running Windows 7.
tnx for the much faster link,
Is it only me or run COD WAW much smoother with these?
Im on XP32SP3
You want smoother? You should try Windows 7.
Yeah, even COD MW.
