    Way to go Nvidia!!!!

    Holy frick...

Just put these on my two 9800 gx2's in quad sli and my frame rates have pretty much all went way up!

Oh and the physx stuff works perfect!

Running Vista 64, 8gig ram ddr3, x3350, dual velociraptors in raid 0, striker extreme II, water cool

PhysX acceleration works here, noticable frame rate issues in games that support PhysX acceleration though, hopefully it'll get sorted soon.

No, just the basic maps that come with UT3, sorry if I caused any confusion, I didn't directly reply to you when I mentioned UT3, I was also not aware that you were discussing them prior.

Many apologies, and I will get to downloading the Ageia maps ASAP :)

    nooooooooobs

so many pages of qq'ing about physx.

what about regular game performance and IQ compared to 177.35?

    imo
    177.35 > 177.39 (lost 5-6 fps in most titles)

    iq seems the same.

i think you all are a bit confused about all this, lol including myself...

Cuda based physX isn't ageia physX lol, so that's why Cellfactor doesn't work and some work very poor like UT3 physx maps. We would need a specially designed game based in cuda environment to really see those physX and take advantage of "this physX engine" lol, so let it be people looll, who cares about Vantage because its only a stupid benchmark, and its probably cuda based because its the only demo/benchmark that this physx driver seem to take advantage of...

i still remember when all where saying physix is dead ageia sux etc,... and look at u all now ;)

DiGiTaL HunTeR is right, most of you write only about this vantage ****, can you play it ? ehrm no, it only makes your e-penis bigger :) write something more about game performance cause this is relevant

If you new about physx engine you would realise Very FEW games utilise the abilty to Offload the physics to GPU...

Only certain games Allow Physics Onto GPU, Some use the Physx Engine, but dont allow Hardware support..

The only games ATM you can Test is

    3dmarkvantage
    and
    UT3

    Thats it....

UT3s Physx ENABLED maps, are around 2x faster if not more

    BTW digital

3dmark uses the Physx Engine and UT3 uses the physx engine also cellfactor uses the physx engine....its upto nvidia to release the software to support all these games, and the games MUST support Physx to Hardware....just because it uses the physx engine doesnt mean it can be done on gpu

WinXP SP3 32bits + 9600GT doesn't work for me. PhysX panel shows all the options in grey. :(

A friend of mine with a 9800GX2 got these installed on Vista 32-bit and has the GeForce PhysX option enabled in the physx cp. He claims DV is broken, no matter how he tried to enable/disable multi-gpu.

According to him he gained almost 50 frames going from 177.26 to 177.39 in CSS. Think he gets 193fps. Crysis performance is majorly improved for him too. He also said he ran the Fluid Physx test and it was really smooth.
