thanks. i only use fs9 which at the moment isnt bad, not being an expert in pcs i hate to make changesin case it goes pear shapped, and this driver game and its numbering system dosnt help, any way i usually wait a while and check forums on these matters,

This is why we need ATI ti get back into the game hard. Nvidia just isn't doing there job right. Drivers they keep releasing bring on something new all the time with issues.

I am stuck with 93.81. cuz thats what works for me shame to admit it but nothing higher won't work and the CP doesn't open up so im stuck until i give nvidia more money for Vista and 8800 series.

I hate to say it, but I agree with GXGamer, but I will give Nvidia until UT3 to get it right and if they dont there history, I will buy ATI.

These drivers look great but run slow in the games I play, back to 160.02 for me.

yeah, i remeber the good old days where ati sucked heavely on driver support and nvidia was ruling the driver heaven...the good old days. not that ati is doing alot better though.

Oblivion keeps dropping to 0 fps and freezing for me ever since I changed to these drivers.

I was hopeful for them at first because performance in stalker was better, but now I can't play oblivion.

I just tried to install these 162.18 drivers and was having the scaling issues. Went back to the 93.81's NGO and all is well again. I am using a 7950 GX2 with a 22" Viewsonic WS VX2255wmb monitor.. Meh, thought NVIDIA would have this fixed with a WHQL release.. guess not.

I dont think the FEAR issue is nVidia's full problem, the FEAR developers should be making a patch, but i heard the game is going to be left in its current state.. Pretty sad to be honest..

Well thats helpfull lol, tried 3 players they are all red, seems to be after you adjust optimal display settings, turns red, ok after initial install, yet another set of bollox drivers by nvidia.

Im thinking of turning to the ATI side.

No problems with videos here. Maybe check codecs or try VLC?

These drivers are crap ... only 6 fps in FSX (with 158.22 i have 60-70). Even 3dmark 05 is incredibly slow (same problem with 7900gt and 8800 gts).

    From the release notes:

"Interlaced HDTV formats cannot be set in the NVIDIA Control panel.
    [234045]" (fixed)

You're two months later, NVIDIA...after waiting for months for this to get fixed, i bought myself a HDTV so i could watch videos/movies and also play games on my TV.

    LOL

    AT RODEN:

    Your fix

I hope you'll find that useful. It's a temporary one btw so I recommend you shift to other drivers.
