I use the beta drivers of 162.18 and Lost Planet is crashing all the time after some period playing (blue screen), so i wonder if these WHQL set is solving this issue.

I dont have any problems with other games like R6:Vegas, BF2142, GR2, Overlord, World in Conflict.

    Cheers, Ramses

I used the beta version and couldnt get on with it, used it on 2142, COH, COD2, GRAW2 and it ran like a bag of "bleep".
maybe the official ver will run better?? worth a try, tnx for the link rich guy.

i guess they are good for everything my 3dmark06 score dropped one point from 5415 to 5414, i played oblivion a little and didn't see that much of a performance boost.

Someone PLEASE tell me the Half-Life 2 issues are GONE, GONE AS THE WIND! And the F.E.A.R. issues as well (all due to texture evict memory issues to my recollection, if you would, as games like Oblivion suffered from that as well, though not nearly as astringently). I cannot BELIEVE nVidia would deem these official WHQL and allow such issues to remain. PLEASE tell me the wait is over...

the 158.22 run all those games flawlessly.
the 16x caused SOME jumpy textures in Fear. HL2, sorry dont know.. Oblivion ran fine tho.

It didn't run all those games "flawlessly" for me, infact, quite the antithesis. Again, I chalk it up to the drivers.

Well, Half-Life 2 and Episode One work fine now, but F.E.A.R. still has the same issues, as do the other apps... ughh.... it misses and yet gains interest... I guess we'll take this slowly, if that sums up the parameters of this post.

Scaling isn't working correctly on 7600GT AGP with a Viewsonic 22"wide screen. At native resolution the screen is stretched too wide no matter what scaling option is selected. All is well with 94.24 and earlier drivers.

As mentioned in the beta thread, I still can't get the control panel to open. I can change the settings given by the tray icon, but I have SLI and would to enable it. I did use the Guru3D driver cleaner before installing.

These work alot better than the 162.18 beta drivers. I had terrible performance problems. All back to normal and performance gain with these WHQL drivers.

Don't worry about, I've heard they're qorking on fixing this in the next release. I hope you;re not getting massive stuttering because of this drop.
