NVIDIA Drivers for CUDA on WSL 455.41

These drivers work great for me on a GTX1080Ti with Windows10 (20H2) b19042.330

 

Made an account just to ask/confirm this. So just like 455.38 this one (455.41) has the same issue?

 

it has opengl, it has broken vulkan.

 

It's WDDM 2.9 beta driver for Windows "Iron", as explained in the DirectX blog post.
2.8 was supposed for Windows Manganese (build 196xx), which ended up as Insider-only release.

 

Every title I've tried to date, works with this driver combination.
Here is a run at Bathurst in AMS2.

 

455.41 sems perform better, the only driver in a while i had significant more Performance in Valley since 2018.

However anyone else have random microstutter Lag Spikes?
I noticed this while watching yt clips( sound stutters sometimes ) and in the Valley Benchmark

 

its also mostly broken.

 

Starting Vulkan Games = Display Driver Crash / nothing happening
3D Mark = Display Driver crash / nothing happening

dx11 and dx9 Games sems working fine but unplayable with the random lag spikes.( could be also an Build 20161 Bug )

I need to keep Windows update from over-writing this driver.
It works very smoothly on my system with all of my racing sims...even in VR.
Last time I checked for updates, it listed the 451.xx as an update.
I simply closed out of the update notification screen, knowing full well I was not going to 'update' a great running driver (for me anyway).
I came back a day later and it was replaced by 451.48.
Here's the 'kicker'... I'm the only one who uses my PC and I never accepted the update.
I had to remove the 451.48 with DDU in safe mode to reinstall my 455.41.

 

There's a button right in DDU to solve that you know.
