i have no issues either in L4d, except they're slower like 5-7fps or sometimes more when in heavy horde.

43fps (195.81) vs 54fps (188.22), thats the lowest i saw it.. or on some other spot 62 vs 73fps. So ye they're definitely slower for me.

These drivers seem to have fixed my L4D2 crashing problem, which is awesome.

That doesn't link to a specific driver.

Fine here. Well with the past driver i got crashes in crysis, in warhead and ungine (heaven), now they are runing fine (except at the final of the last one, the dragon is blue lol and some extrange things), and i beleave that the video card is colder now (placebo?). Nhancer can get rtcw profile and opengl extension limit by default. I think that they are working very hard to give us a good driver. Anyways the worst nvidia driver is better than the best ati driver.

Finally the past 3 or 4 Nvidia drivers made my GTX 260 Core 216 downclock to low performance 3d. Thank you Nvidia cough... about time they have fixed my downclocking during gaming. With this set all clocks work great and even fallout 3 does not lag when looking at the sky and around megaton. At 4XAA unless if I put it to 8XAA it lags. Smooth in all other games like Batman and LFD2. GTA 4 still is stuttering unlike the 186.18 drivers.

    Best drivers for me so far with my 260GTX(old one) + Win7 64Bit Home Premium + Q6600. I've tested MW2(1920x1200 2AA), Borderlands(1920x1200 2AA), Dirt2(1920x1020 4AA), NFS: Shift(1920x1020 4AA).

    Regards,
    Sascha

These drivers are working great for me in all games apart from Cryostasis. However for me that game has been bug ridden from the start and crashes randomly with whatever driver version I'm using.

    Black Screen of death

For the last few drivers i've been getting the black screen of death when ever i try to alt-tab out or quit a game, even games that have never had a problem with tabbing out like world of warcraft are now just showing a black screen with my mouse pointer, i even did a complete installed of windows then put the drivers back on and still get the black screen so i know its not a problem with my pc. when this happens all i can do is press reset as ctrl+alt+del doesnt bring up the task manager like it should, thing is i can still hear the music from the game i playing at the time so whats happening?

Still thinks my Samsung 2333W monitor is an HDTV and prevents me from setting any scaling options. And the OverrideEdidFlags trick to solve that doesn't work.

    195.81 on dualboot WinXPsp3 & Win7 64

195.62 & 195.81 have been very bad on my dual boot system. Had the following problems on both WinXPsp3 & Win7 64.

    1. AA not working, couldnt get it to work
    2. shimmering on everything and crawling textures
    3. Iq, washed out grainy, blurry
    3. crashing, hangs, bsod, especially in COD WAW
    4. In game slow down frame drops, solid 60 to 30 fps, (adaptive power?)

WinXpsp3: Went back to 182.50, Was really shocked in the difference in image quality. All other problems seem to be solved also. With a Xfx GTX 285 these drivers look excellent on my system.

Win7 64: Went back to 191.07, still getting slow downs with frame drop and many of the other problems but not as bad as the 195.62 & 195.81s. Will be trying some other drivers here.

1st time I've ever had real problems with a GC driver upgrade.
Just wanted to share my experience with these drivers. YMMV.

    regards,
    Bcc335 :)

How do these drivers compare to 188.25, are the range of hotfixes still available in this release with down clock fixed etc?

Or seems they have to sacrifice previous fixes to make new ones. lol
