This is amazing. Kudos.
No you don't. You just need Core display driver and Install Core.
Installed these drivers with NVSlimmer and managed to sideload NVIDIACorp.NVIDIAControlPanel_8.1.956.0_x64__56jybvy8sckqj.Appx in PowerShell. Nvidia Control Panel once again shows when I right click my desktop, but I receive a message that a network location cannot be reached.
@uKER Nvidia have changed something in the latest driver packaging 441.87. When i installed it using the latest slimmer i get the "Ansel can be activated" pop out when starting a game.
I rolled back a driver version with DDU and the popout was not there, not a big deal i just don't want the overlay working which i guess it is for the pop out to be there
disable ansel globally with profile inspector, there is no way to remove ansel from the dch driver without breaking the signed catalog
I am using a GRD driver and since i never installed Ansel that option in NV inspector is not there, i know the one you mean, the only Ansel related one is for ansel flags for white listed apps which is already at disallowed
You are using a DCH driver, which moves the NVCamera files into the DisplayDriver folder.
and there is more than just the whitelist disallow setting.
"Enable Ansel" on and off control the system ansel setting.
"Gameready" is both DCH and Standard.
OK you are right, i was looking for "ansel enable" not "enable ansel" . Smoke from the bushfires must be affecting my eyesight
I want to install latest GRD on win10 on nv10xx series gpu.
I just want the drivers, hdmi/dp out, control panel to work and compatible with afterburner, will not be using GFE.
What would be the right boxes to check.
And is there a list that explains what each checkbox is for? if not, could it be added to the app itself?
Is this tool still being used by the community? (asking as the last update(0.7) has a while)
I use it on every new driver release without a problem. At least until now.
If i stop the "NVIDIA Display Container LS" service the Nvidia control Panel doesn't start. If i start the service all fine. mmhh
What is the "display driver automatic updater"? To my knowledge automated updating has always been served via Geforce Experience?
