nvidia driver question

    If i have the latests drivers , and im replacing my 8800GT with a 9800GTX will i have to uninstall/reinstall the drivers?

    I believe just uninstalling the video card from Device Manager should be all that is required. You will be using the same drivers so an uninstall should not be needed.

    Yes, you have to uninstall all previous nvidia drivers. Clean the remains using Driver sweeper in safe mode then plug your new card and install fresh set of drivers. Remember, after you download the driver package extract the contents using winrar, remove or copy physics drivers to other folder, delete PDsetup, then install drivers first and then physics for optimal system performance.
