i never said you were selling something free, i was saying you act like someone who is selling something, like a salesman, telling how good and great is ccleaner and how all people should use it no matter what they think.

As i said i have the pro version of ccleaner, the registry cleaner only clean junk entries or orphan keys and orphan filetype associations, the cleaner only clean junk files, temp files, coockies free space, etc, nothing more it doesn't mess with any hardware/windows related, and doesn't not make magic with something screwed up inside the driver code.

Ccleaner is a good program but it's not even close of what you think, it's just a tool to frre up space, and free the os partitiuon from junk, nothing more, the crashes experiencing by the people, can't be fixed by a tool like that period

now where's MANUELG? he closed the thread & hide like a lil mouse, don't have guts to admit they can't deliver a stable driver. i think he need us to donate him & the rest of team to improve his skills to another level.

now u trying to think in this universe only me myself got this kinda issue??? y don't u admit that u ain't no capability to fix the issue & ask for help?

So far so good, Chrome (HW acceleration is on) never crashed even once for me. I rarely use programs like Afterburner though.

Only installed the Graphics driver and PhysX, nothing else.

    Hm no win10 support again.

Just help me understand something, even after release, will win10 always need it's own set of drivers (like win xp atm)?

w10 is not oficially released yet, so don't expect too much driver support, even the most used version are just TP

It looks like W10 will need it's own drivers due to DX12. Nvidia seems to have put a block in lately so that Windows 10 systems can't run 8.1 drivers. I'd say that also points to the probability that W10 will need separate drivers.

I am getting an Access Denied error when trying to apply settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel on my newly installed EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC after doing a clean install of the v353.06 drivers.

I was attempting to switch the Global profile's Adaptive setting to Prefer Maxium Performance when the error popped up. This is the first time I have ever come across this issue when using the NVIDIA Control Panel and I have using their cards for almost 15 years.

    *EDIT*
GeForce Experience v2.4.5.28 will not open either and there is no error in the Event log. I tried uninstalling it and installing the standalone version...does not work either. I had no problems using it before on my previous GTX 980 SC card yesterday. :(

Possibly related to the Access Denied error in the NVIDIA Control Panel...?

Saw this many times before. It's geforce exp. Wipe everything off with DDU, and then do a clean install of everything minus geforce exp, it'll surely work. If everything goes fine, install geforce exp manually later on.

Like I said here at this thread before in my post #306 everything is still working fine with 353.06 here on rig in my sig, no TDS's, BSOD's or anything weird while browsing in Firefox with HW acceleration enabled, playing games like GTA V... MSI AB 4.1.1 + RTSS 6.3.0 running in the background whole time...

Also... I'm testing these 353.06 on another gaming rig, 3rd day of testing, not a single problem yet in latest Firefox Beta 64bit, Chrome 64bit, both with HW acceleration enabled, both browsers are purposely (at the same time) left in background while doing some benchmarks, gaming and I did tried same benchmarsks and games without those browsers left in background... MSI AB 4.1.1 + RTSS 6.3.0 are running in the background whole time while benching, gaming, browsing on the internet, watching some Youtube... nothing, no BSOD's, TDR's, not a single weird thing with this 353.06 drivers.
Here are short specs of that another gaming rig and software I'm using...

    Intel Core i7-2600K @ 4.6GHz
Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z/GEN3 (latest BIOS 3603)
    2x 4GB Kingston HyperX 1600 CL9
MSI GeForce GTX780 Lightning 3GB @ no OC i.e stock freq for GPU/mem, latest BIOS BIOS 80.80.21.00.62, GPU boosts up to 1097MHz
AData 120GB SSD SATA3 for OS + WD 1.5TB HDD SATA3 for everything else
    Seasonic 620W PSU

    software/drivers:
Firefox 39.0 Beta 3 64bit (+12 Add-ons, all latest versions: Adblock Plus, All-in-One Sidebar, Classic Theme Restorer, ColorfulTabs, Download Status Bar, Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express, Firefox Showcase, SearchPreview, Tab Mix Plus, Tab Scope, Youtube Center (latest developer version), Youtube mp3
Google Chrome 43.0.2357.81 64bit without aditional extensions except few Google's stock ones + Kaspersky Protection 4.0.9.130
    MSI Afterburner 4.1.1 + RTSS 6.3.0
Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 build 15.0.2.361
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit with latest updates
    Unigine Heaven 4.0
    Unigine Walley 1.0
    GTA V
    Witcher 3
GeForce 353.06 drivers: just graphic drivers, HDMI audio and Physx are installed
latest drivers for mobo's chipset, integrated Realtek HD audio ALC889 (6.0.1.7512 R2.78), LAN...

Can't explain why these 353.06 drivers aren't causing problems on both rigs I've tested them on and quite a lot of people here are having problems with 353.06... both of these rigs with 353.05 are tuned to perfection, maybe that's why, really duno.... also I'm always using latest DDU before switching from one GPU driver to some newer. Both rigs were running 350.12, also without a single problem...

    Weird, I know...

    edit
I've never used/installed Geforce Experience, maybe GE is root for all problems here for some of you guys...

Seemed to do the trick, thanks. It's the first time I've had to use DDU. Nice to know there is an option to fallback on when NVIDIA's own Clean Install option fails! GFE now works and I can apply settings in the NVIDIA control panel.

well after the issues i had with Driver not responding while browsing the net with the Witcher 3 drivers, I decided to give these 353.06 ago.

tick clean install only GPU drivers installed, Don't need HDMI Audio/GFE etc or PhysX as that was up to date.

    Will report back

Quitting Afterburner has so far not lead to one lockup in Chrome here. Might be the culprit or at least part of it? Or it's the driver that doesn't like stat-reading software?

Well after a reboot I have the Access Denied error when attempting to apply any changes to the NVIDIA control panel so the fix was only temporary...unfortunately. That means I am unable to tweak any game profiles at all. Even NVIDIA Inspector does not work. :(

The good news, if you can call it that, is that GeForce Experience is still working, though as has been the case for the last 9 months I can only launch it from a desktop shortcut not the NVIDIA icon in the system tray (the control panel option works however).

Newer drivers are unusable in games for me due to the frequency of the tdr crashes.

Tried msi afterburner 4.1.0 and 4.1.1, also tried using precisionx 5.3.5 with kboost on and off. OSD on and off. Didn't have any affect on it.

I'm using 347.88 and the performance dropped a bit from the newer drivers but its a hell of a lot more stable. Also I used DDU (display driver uninstaller) when testing the drivers and used it when I rolled back to 347.88. (Just giving as many details as possible).

I also lowered my stable overclock by 50mhz off the core and memory, and the amount of TDR crashing didn't change with 352.86 and 353.06.

I did not install the sound driver or geforce experience, only the display driver and physx each time when I tested them for tdr crashing.

Something definitely not right with those drivers.

-edit- Just for further clarification I used display driver uninstaller in safe mode when cleaning the driver after the fact that I was getting frequent and consistent tdr crashes in games with the newer drivers. I used DDU in an attempt to solve the issue, but it doesn't do anything to fix the problem on the newer drivers. First time I had used it was recently for these newer drivers, and when I rolled back to 347.88.

Playing only War Thunder and World of Tanks (Armored Warfare too but now testing it's closed) and browsing with Chrome.
Installed only driver and Physics after cleaning with DDU.
    No problems whatsoever (finger crossed).

Don't know whether this is a game or driver issue but when I was playing Dead Rising 3 yesterday on my new GTX 980 Ti with the game maxed out at 1920x1200 I noticed that the shadows indoors were extremely glitchy, disappearing and reappearing as I rotated the camera. It looked very distracting and ugly. The issue does not seem to occur outdoors and the two areas I noticed it was inside a garage and inside a sports shop.

No crashes or issues for me, to compare to the above I have done some similar benchmarks, but in an actual game :p
