Well i was a bit hesitant to try this driver reading about crashing with chrome(which i use) and other browsers, However i still installed using DDU in safe mode and as of the past 2 hours from installing i've had no crashes and hope it stays that way.

For those OC'ing using afterburner and getting crashes, set your clocks back to defaults and test again. Your card may pass a stress test with your OC, but its not the same in a game where the boost may fluctuate depending on the scene and this I hear may cause instability at some points (in some games).

Having Vsync off has always been a requirement for G-sync which is why I don't understand why the G-sync option is now separated from V-sync in NVCPL.

But I'll try this, disabled V-sync this time in NVCPL and will report back.

Also noticed that it takes almost 10 sec to get in to "Manage 3D settings" in NVCPL :3eyes:

EDIT - Turning off V-sync did the trick :)

I didn't try the previous drivers to these but I decided to try these, went to browse some sites on chrome and I was getting black screens followed by driver stopped responding so I'd say the answer to your question is a no & this was with a clean install of the drivers too.

So does this driver fix the crashing while idle problem of the previous driver?

Wheni select here to use vsync at windowed mode and fullscreen the mouse starts to lag sometimes at desktop and some apps

When i revert to Gsync only at full screen the issue gone

    Anyone with the same problem?

    Thanks

Awesome driver here, no crashing in the Witcher 3 and is noticeably smoother than previous drivers :)

Still crashing in Witcher 3 in conjunction with MSI:A/RTSS, Chrome etc etc, basically in witcher 3, if i have ANYTHING running on 2nd screen...i crash :(

Would be easy to blame Nvidia and drivers, but...since i can play any other game on my rig currently: Wasteland 2, Elite Dangerous, Rift MMO, The Secret World + Adobe AE/Element 3D/Media Encoder, and still use 2nd screen fully with chrome, msi:a or whatever i like, i think it is safe to say that, despite a superb game, it is REALLY poor coding somewhere in the Witcher game/engine (maybe due to the triple platform base) and i doubt any driver will fix this....

But, no crashes and at least same performance with this in W3 (as long as i run Witcher solo)

No probs and yep, guaranteed it works as I do it myself for games that don't play nice with AB, I don't think the custom fan curved work if you quit AB but I didn't try it.

    What the hell???

Lost about 10fps in Witcher 3! Now I'm mad!

Crap driver for me, will probably reroll back to previous.

Did a clean install and everything :(

Edit - Got my FPS back  Now it's back to 70 something (was at 50) and this happened when I tried changing back from "Activate G-sync for Windowed and Fullscreen mode" to just Fullscreen. Yay!

Hehe, nvidia crippled Maxwell to make Kepler look better?

#seriousnow performance here in TW3 is 0-10 better compared to 352.86.

    Haha ;)

No but check my Edit. It's back to normal and actually even better. Average 70-75 in the wild, that's pretty good.

Awesome, Maxwell SLI gets a 20fps boost. Not bad.

Definitely seems like performance in Witcher is better with these drivers.

I still find I'm getting some drops into the low 40s early 50s in areas with lots of foliage, but gameplay is smooth at least.

Dunno how much fps I gained though.. doesn't feel like a lot.

G-Sync with windowed mode support enabled is being used in programs like Paint.Net and makes it feel very strangely sluggish.

You can disable it with Inspector (and probably just adding it to the NVCP and disabling it) but still annoying that it's happening by default for some reason.
