Warframe F2P coop has nice suitable Apex turbulence effects.

Physx is just an Nvidia gimmick to get people to buy their graphics cards. All the extra visual graphics that you get from physx could have been put in the game by the developers with no need for physx. Im not an Amd fan boy either I have used both companies graphics cards in the past.

I will be buying an nvidia card in the future, but physx is not going to be the prime reason for that purchase. It's stupid and doesn't add much to the experience.

I didnt see any difference about physics in that video. Other only had more effects that are easy to made without PhysX. I didnt see any reaction for wind or objects. Just lots of lights/particles.

anyone as manage to run hybrid physx on this game?, i tried but it seem that i can't move the PhysXCore.dll and PhysXLoader.dll because the game won't start without it, the game seem to need it.

Because 52.3% of gamers CAN use the additional graphical enhancements and would prefer them not be removed because someone who made the mistake of buying the competitors hardware complained about nVidia not "giving" AMD technology that cost millions of dollars to develop.

Last I checked, AMD only has about 33% of the discrete graphics market. :)

I am trying to configure Hawken for hybrid PhysX with a combo of a AMD 7870 LE and a Nvidia GT640. I used Hybridiz to get Fluidmark 1.5.0 to run Physx on the GT640 but no luck with Hawken so far.

I tried a suggestion of replacing
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MeteorEntertainment\Hawken\InstalledHawkenFiles\Binari es\Win32\PhysXDevice.dll
    with
    C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common\PhysXDevice.dll
    but I didn't see a change.

After using GPU-Z to observe a load of zero on the GT640 and Windows Task Manager to watch CPU usage head toward 100% in a furball, I conclude that the GT640 is not running any of the Hawken PhysX.

You do understand that PhysX is way more than just "simple" particle effects? It's the main physics engine in UE3 (and as far as I know, all UE3 games use it or at least I don't own UE3 engine game that doesn't). For example, all Mass Effect games use PhysX. Those particular effects are meant to add immersion to game, they can't make them essential because then it would exclude all crap PC's out there.

TBH it looks pretty damn sweet. Thankfully I gots me a hybrid physx setup. I enjoy physx games. Some are kinda gimmicky but others it adds quite abit to the game.

Once they fully implement the PhysX is should be interesting, same as Planetside2 imo.

Not much, forced 1st person view, small fov, everything is brown.. Gameplay meh -_-

Planetside2 apex is nothing special either.. It looks nice for first 1-2min, but gets borring quick.

Already deleted both games, no wonder they're free 2 play.
