You don't even need open the MS Store or need a MS Account.

Lot of people seem to have messed up Windows installations.

For me these DCH drivers install like the Standard ones and come with NVCP automatically.

Same. Not sure why so many think the driver doesn't include the control panel. It's the Appx file in the NVCPL folder included with the driver. It should automatically be installed. The only thing I can think that may cause people to think it's missing is they didn't reboot.

A reboot is something i still do after a driver update due to old habbits.

Already mentioned that NVCPL is in the DCH package, anyway:

Won't work if some paranoid idea removed the default "App Installer" from Windows though.

Well then they simply reinstall Windows, and hopefully learned not to mess around with it.

I don't have to prove a damn thing. I tested DCH drivers in my system and they were unstable as hell. I NEVER get game crashes with standard drivers. With DCH drivers one of the games I play would simple CRASH NON-STOP. Reinstalled standard drivers (same driver version) and crashes were GONE.
Plus, you are required to download nVidia control panel from MS store ? This makes no sense since drivers have tons of bloatware included that I don't use.

    lmao, prove it.

the kernel driver isn't any different between standard and dch.

Maybe it was that way with some early DCH drivers. With current ones there are no issues. The UWP Control Panel is included with the drivers, there is no need to download it from Windows store, also you can debloat the current DCH driver just as you can the Standard driver.
Check them out yourself, you might want to run DDU beforehand to clean any remains of old drivers though, in case you have some driver corpses on your system that could be causing trouble if you install the new driver over older ones.

It's clearly people messing up their Windows with third party uninstall apps and powershell.

All the experts suddenly surface with issues they can't fix.

    Thnx mate.

It was a problem with my store, i had do format.

I think i did the magic "take ownership" on the windowsapp folder long time ago(to fix another problem with icons), but just now(using more uwp apps) i suffered more consequences for this.

This uwp limiting system is something horrendous, I suffer more from it for the gamepass store.

To be fair, there are a few users who have been stung by a Windows bug from 180x who can't run it right out of the box due to package properties, the horrible file-system-error-2147219196 error.

If you have problems in the future there is a tool within windows to fix any issues with the store. Run "wsreset.exe" in the windows run box and it'll reset the store.

    I tried it, didn't work.

Tried restoring permissions and removing myself, tried icacls(did that with a bootable drive using cmd), tried system restore(dont restore permissions that) U can only partial fix, not fully.
    Only formating.

My advice, never take ownership on windowsapp folder.
This uwp system is pure bullshit.
I cant even backup games from gamepass store(even if is installed on another drive it wont work)

That's why i dont like this new NVCPL on that bullcrap folder.

Why are people still on such an old EOL version of Windows anyways?
