What an odd day to "accidently" leak the existence of a new card.

If this is true then lol, really. Basically this will be the 512 SP ''480'' we are were waiting for, since it's still 40nm. In other words, if this is not just a rumour, both AMD and Nvidia chose to rename their refreshes as if they were a new line. But hey, at least I have more choices in december. :D

No you are not, it's just that they seem to take ages to load, it's either heavy traffic because it's an extremely hot review/news or I need to pause some of my pr0n downloads.

Who cares about that? It may be good if your benchmarking, but not any of the DX11 ones obviously lol, but if your a gamer who like to play new games on release day then a 5970 is a poor choice against the GTX480, when you compare prices of the two.

The AMD marketing slides show the 6870 on average around 20-30% faster than a stock GTX460, and my card is about that much faster than a stock one.
Its a laughing face, not crying, i was laughing at you thinking AMD would release a mid range card that was faster than their last high end one, which would be financial suicide.

serp202, its common sense, ignoring the fact that staying at 40nm makes it unlikely to be anywhere near as fast as two GPU's, why would AMD bring out anything that undermines their previous card, why would they compete against themself:stewpid:

AMD/ATI doesn't even have price anymore.

For £188 you can have a GTX470 with free Mafia2 which runs better on Nvidia cards, or for £200 you can have a 6870 with free MW2 which also runs better on Nvidia cards.

Not saying the new AMD cards aint good, they definitely are, but value for money, they aren't.
