Nvidia confirms the GTX 580

    Yeah, but DX11 is the new hype-machine for Benchmarks, so NVIDIA having almost DOUBLE performance in DX11 is a huge deal to me.

    Double over the 5870, apparently the 6970 is much more competitive.

    Yeah, not sure why some people feel the need to gloat in such an ott way.

    Especially when the info something any one of us could fake in a few minutes.

    Anyone else think this card won't be much of a DX9/10 powerhouse, not that i think its necessary, but for some it may.

    If this does turn out to be the 480 done properly, then I'll be looking at selling my 5870.

    Depending on the price tag Nvidia attach.

    my guess its that 786cores thing, or 2x 384cores - full 460gtx.

    so do you guys think these in quad sli will be that fastest option?like quad sli 480's are now?
