NVIDIA has started a promotion where you will receive Shadow of the Tomb Raider for free. Here's the thing though, it's valid for purchase of a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, 1080, 1070 Ti, 1070 or 1060 bas... NVIDIA Bundles GTX Series 10 GPUs with free copy of Shadow of the Tomb Raider
i understand that clearing old stock making way for new stock but... i dont understand that bundling the gpu with a game that almost a year old and it supports rtx but the gpu bundled with it runs slow on it. what gives nvidia... come on
LUL 10 series is out of stock almost everywhere, and places that still do have it sell it at launch prices or higher. Who's madman to buy that?
"NVIDIA Bundles GTX Series 10 GPUs with free copy of Shadow of the Tomb Raider" Things might be going rough at nvidia, giving away free GPU's with a free game /jk, you wording made me chuckle Hilbert.
Should be the other way around. NVIDIA bundles Shadow of the Tomb Raider with a free GTX Series 10 GPU.
Probably the wrong game to bundle since it's particlarly a RTX showcase tech wise, but honestly guys... a lot of people on a budget, or deliberately not buying a GPU every one or two years might see this as a good time to pick up a 1080TI for cheap with a free game. When we look at AMD and free game bundles it's always a plus... I think we shouldn't complain too much on this either. For some people this is an option, if they even decide to skip Turing (2xxx series) and go for something like 1080TI SLI now to prolongue their rig's lifetime for less investment.
Personally, I think it's the worst one of the reboots. Rise was fantastic, but Shadow has waaaaaay too much hand holding and just feels sort of boring compared to past games. Maybe it's been updated since around launch, but I can't see myself going back to it after playing for 4 hours.
