I dunno how company-based crapware makes me seem like I want lower resolutions, but ok.

This, and also its known that tsmc 12nm which they created specially for nvidia, is really similar to 16nm with some slight adjustments. Basically - "12nm" is not a real node, in classic sense anyway.
    https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/16_nm_lithography_process (look for "12")

You can have a performance jump when the chip is as large as the 2080ti chip.

I'll look at the benchmarks before I buy any of those new cards. For me to go for a 2080Ti or 2080, they're gonna have to be impressive. Because those prices are too high for consumer grade products imo. Hopefully AMD will release some competition and force Nvidia's price gouging down.

MSI / EVGA marketing - 10/10. They already have new models on the website, the rest of the manufacturers not so much. ;)

Personally, I want to see two things before making a decision:
    a) Performance benchmarks.
    b) If there will be AIO models.

Bigger not always better, look at VEGA.

Price hike? The top Nvidia GPU has always sold for around $1200 (it's just that they were called the Titan before). Nvidia is now bringing the Titan down to the masses by relabeling it as a consumer card. :p

Remember, true enthusiasts always buy the Ti (as an Nvidia investor, I approve this message ;))

Why aren't reviews of this cards up yet? Don't they send cards to reviewers this time? But are accepting pre orders?

Bigger doesn't equal better. Bigger is needed here though at 12nm and that many transistors and other processors under the hood, bigger is necessary.

Be interesting to see benchmarks, but unless these are double the performance of their previous cards i don;t see their worth, the 2080ti is £1,050 to £1,339, that in itself is insane, when i bought my 1080ti just a bit off launch during the mining craze it was only £820 and that was for one of the top models i could of got it cheaper if i wanted too, Maybe its just for the new tech, but unless these are serious performers i don't see myself touching them or being able to justify any form of purchase unless they at the very least double performance for that price tag.

Also where is there an over £300 gap between the 2080 and 2080ti, just seems odd to me... 2080ti is basically been priced at how the Titan was, so unless no titans now? or the TI replaced it

I can already see the headlines:

"New TensorCoin pops up on the internet."
"Miners of TensorCoin buy all 2070, 2080 off the market, none found in stock anywhere"
"NVIDIA announces record sales of their new Turing architecture"
"Jensen announces: Our new successful Ray Tracing GPU is now in a lot of gamer* PC's"
*might be miner rigs but who cares. We sold them !

    yada yada.

Right I am back, and will update the article a bit. It was a mess / busy at the venue. We had some small server issues this evening as well, these are solved.

I could see Nvidia releasing a new Titan - but priced like the Titan V. $3K for a Titan and $1200 for a Ti could become the new norm (I think I mentioned this way back but nobody believed me).
