Cheers, I didn't know that, I thought you could only force TrSSAA in Riddick.
Having an issue with the AA code 0x004012C5 with Final Fantasy 14. It has this nasty blur effect added onto it so it makes putting antialiasing kind of pointless since it ruins the image quality. Here are my settings. Would appreciate the help.
I'm using fullscreen mode.
I thought another world was an all 2D game?
What is KOF 13 aa flag , any body know ? :bang:
I tried sgssaa , msaa and fxaa without aa flag didn't work. Any body tried ?
It's a 2D game too isn't it?
It's meant to look pixellated.
If it has 3D/Polygon environments then downsampling may be your only option
Well that's certainly not right. There shouldn't be any silly blur, as we already compared a few weeks ago.

SGSSAA does make a difference. At 4x it's not perfect. Even at 8 it's not entirely 100% perfect. But it's better than nothing and it's better than just the FXAA in game
One thing I noticed on FFXIV is that at least on my case SGSSAA only works if you use the fullscreen setting and additionally at least with the 12C5 flag it blurs if you use anything other than the default gamma setting of 50.
So try setting the gamma back to the default, maybe that's the problem.
please some AA for Van Helsing?
downsampling not working because i have in game options max. 1080p resolution and i do not find any config etc.
...and i play now Dead Space 3 (Dead Space 3 0x004012C1 shadow problems) no more shadows problem if is turn ON AA FIX in Nvidia inspector.
4xSGSSAA + downsampling
Any flags for PES2014 for AA and SLI.. ?
"0x004012C1" works for Van Helsing but you have to disable "High Shaders" or the game will crash after the intro video's.
So, AA fix, fixes Shadow problems with SGSSAA?
Very interesting. Wonder if it has any effect on DS1&2
just bought GTX760...couple of days ago. Even with 760 i've got 30FPS in Aarklash while running with sgssaa x4 + 0x000012C1 flag ...bummer.
Just like to let anyone know who may not have tried.
You can force SGSSAA/OGSSAA/HSSAA in Alpha Prime without any Bits. Nothing quite gets 100% of the aliasing, but is better than the in game FSAA. At the cost of performance of course. (And really though most of the aliasing issues come from the specular component of the lighting. Which you can disable, but looks kind of weird without it http://i.minus.com/iLZmqa20kuaxX.png )
Only 8xSGSSAA is really worth it. (4x isn't really the best looking and various downsampling methods don't really make a difference)
Also combining SGSSAA with the in-game FSAA isn't a great idea either. No IQ benefits.
With 8xSGSSAA @1600x900 I was getting between 50-100FPS. With 8xFSAA I was getting in the neighborhood of 270+.

8xSGSSAA http://i.minus.com/iQ9Zz3TcKEf2N.png (Without Auto LOD bias enabled. With enabled there is no blur basically. These shots are also with Bloom on which creates the blur in the first place but also helps with some minor aliasing)

Recommended bit is in Bold (Ignore alternative bit unless applies to you, list only the recommended bit. It is MORE than good enough)
0x080002C1 - SGSSAA,OGSSAA,OGSSAA-Hybrid(+-SGSSAA)
Minimum recommended Bit required for HQ SGSSAA, gets 99% of Aliasing.
Alternative bit for absolutely best quality (if you have crazy insane hardware) 0x080022C1, it gets that last 1% of Aliasing around things like the arms and the neck/ears. (That not even 2x2 downsampling +4xSGSSAA can get) but comes at the cost of some minor UI blur.
0x00000041 doesn't work with SGSSAA
Downsampling plus SGSSAA produces some odd results that don't look very good and actually seems to create aliasing (I resampled my 3200x1800 4xSGSSAA shot in a way that looks exactly 1:1 to how it showed up on my monitor. Aliasing and all)

Does Any one know the way AA in KOF 13 ?
State of Decay and Marlow Briggs AA flags would be great...
Yeah State of Decay looks ugly without AA...
It's CryEngine 3 btw.
0x000012C1 works for me with State of Decay as it's the flag used for DX9 Crysis 2. I tested it with 4xMSAA + 4xSGSSAA and it definitely works, although it is very demanding: my framerate drops from a perfect 60 fps to around 40-45 fps and VRAM usage doubles from 680 MB to 1,300 MB.
Dang they really need to upgrade those UI assets beyond 720p They look pretty bad.
The game is entirely 2D. It won't happen sorry.
Any AA flags for Full Spectrum Warrior and FSW Ten Hammers ?
