True that. GW2 is the same way at the loading screen where you see your character.

    "Torchlight 2 - 0x20000245"

I did not test em yet. But im pretty shure these should work fine..

    @ both of you :)

SweetFX is an Injector that has a lot of features..smaa, a better version of fxaa and not blurred, plus all the effects like hd, vibrance, sharpen and more..easy to turn on and off or to edit..each effect is selectable..

    heres teh Download:
And heres some more information about it:

Nice find BetA. There's no brightness control in this game. Any idea which settings will control it in SweetFX?

nahh, i dont think so...SGSSAA with a little negative LOD is Better i think..
At least when using more the 4 x 4...
But, at these settings, i do think SGSSAA does cost more performance..downsampling should be a bit lighter..

But im not soo shure, cause i never tried downsampling...

    Post Your Screenshots! *56k Warning*
    Look for yourself
OGSSAA (AKA downsampling) by itself usually causes the same amount of texture shimmering and pixel crawl as without it unless you also have something like MSAA or another AA method mixed with it.
I've rarely found a game where using straight up OGSSAA by itself reduces aliasing completely.

Crysis DX10 2732x1536 OGSSAA down to 1080p with 4XMSAA and FXAA
    [IMG]

    Vs
OGSSAA by itself (2732x1536 Down to 1080p)

    Vs
    OGSSAA +FXAA
    [IMG]

    Vs OGSSAA+4XMSAA
    [IMG]

    Vs 2x2 OGSSAA (3840x2160)

    Vs 4XSGSSAA
    [IMG]

    VS

    No AA -1080p native
    [IMG]
And that's just a still. It looks worse in motion. OGSSAA by itself makes the pixels smaller, but doesn't combat shimmering, pixel crawl or temporal aliasing in motion well. If Downsampling is your only option, it will help. Just not that much without combining it with SMAA or FXAA or another type of AA.
(Look for the ones that say "OGSSAA By itself" or "2X2 OGSSAA" these are downsampling by itself)

well, there u have it...SGSSAA looks superior to me in these pics..
Look at the straight lines etc...SGSSAA does look better, at least in that screen comparsion..

Looks blurry to me. Needs the LOD adjusted it looks like.

Any ideas how to force in Blacklight Retribution?

    **
Found a DX9 SGSS bit 0x080000C1 here. Works with DX9 only and ingame MLAA should be turned off.

I haven't actually tested this, though. I use forced FXAA for now in DX11.

DX11 MSAA is horribly glitched, not possible to use atm.

Yeah, while one looks better than the other in certain areas. SGSSAA probably looks better overall IMO, plus i'm guessing it looks WAY better in motion. (the blur is negligible to my eyes. And most of looks like it can be attributed to the bloom or LOD differences which looks varied.)

Let's do a Zoomed comparison; even though these are JPGs and the quality won't be high; 200% Zoom
    http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/148566

There is also "How much downsampling did you use?" though. Because insane amounts will look better of course.
And from the looks of it, the increased resolution allows for more resolvable detail in certain parts of the image (with OGSSAA)
