I will check, in the meantime you can get sharper SGSSAA by using 0x000012C5 with the AA fix enabled.

You can see that more high frequency information is retained. (distant detail and if you look at the surface of the white stripe below Sam.)

This does make some aliasing slightly worse(Not significantly). But it may be worth it depending on what you want.

How do you get DSR beyond 4x?

Actually ingame 16xAA in older id Tech 4 games (e.g. Doom 3, Quake 4, Quake Wars) is a hybrid OGSSAA+MSAA mode.

    16xAA = 16xS = 2x2 OGSSAA + 4x MSAA

But in my experience it is far better in terms of blurring and general IQ to simply disable ingame MSAA altogether and use driver forced 16xS instead.
Alternatively could native 3840x2160 resolution combined with ingame 8xMSAA also be a good solution.

I would just love to know if theres a fix for the texture blurring when ising trssaa in oldet opengl titles on modern drivers :(

    Oh btw.

Vanquish's edge aa 8x goes really nicely with nvidia driver fxaa.. as well as you can expect to get out of ancient aa anyway.

yep i have problem too, but changing resolution below that is works. try DSR(6.25x) is fine

DSR + EdgeAA + FXAA NV Driver is great thooo :)

Gta5 is dx10+ only. No aa flags.

Also good god the chromatic abberation.

Also just use in game fxaa and dont bother with the override. Just put sparce grid x4 in.

Are you trying to layer like 3 types of msaa? again just use in game msaa 4x and fxaa. then set sgssaa to 4x in the thingy and thats all you need.

yea gta5 is using a "hq aa for environment & hq aa for vehicles" from ENB. Then the gta options are set to "4x msaa & 4x reflection msaa". inspector is set to 4x msaa & 4x sparse grid.

Then I put 4x Factors DSR on for 3840x2160 on 1080p

I have gta set to dx11, there is a difference with the sparse grid option set to on that i can see in the textures.

tested C1 and C5 , on my system C5 gives more FPS than C1. AA Fix still stutter on both . i'll stick C5 with AA fix OFF

The blur really isn't that bad most of the time IMO, you can always just do negative LOD bias and sharpen the image if that's such an issue. Depending on the game, it just looks a lot blurrier due to the fact the aliasing is so incredibly harsh in the game and just a tad bit of oversmoothing of high frequency information. (Especially Doom 3 with mods)

You can also use a small amount of DSR with a low smoothness value (10% or so). Or just regular Driver Downsampling with custom resolutions. Which will make the image sharper and emphasize more aliasing depending on the game.

Also, again it's likely your monitor has a sharpness slider. You can always use that.
