..oh, on that point i am not really sure anymore... motion blur i disabled for sure (annoying) - antialiasing i guess 4x.. anisotropic i think it's 8 - but i have to make sure - it's actually not always above 60 - i think the average will be good 60fps... but i saw never a breakdown in fraps below 50 - sometimes its also 70, of course depending what scene

i am more sure regarding BFBC2.. threre i set everything to the top at 1920x1080.. so it's around 70 always - well actually everythin above 60fps does not make sense anyway.. my monitor is 60Hz so i should actually enable vsync if above i think ;-)

Who doesn't, of course if it can run crysis at 60 frames, then it would mean that it would run other games much much higher, which is better for future proofing, but I don't necessarily want 60 frames FOR crysis, farcry 2 is a much better shooter in my opinion, crysis warhead is great though

Crysis is too old to matter any more.

Edit: Nice job Hilbert, should straighten up some of those Mr. C disciples.

Yeah i know man, i would like to play crysis at 1920x1200 with 8xaa myself.
but if i would get a second or third screen that would change again :D it never ends ... sigh.. :p

no actually Crysis is THE game to beat in terms of performance.

You'll either need to spend A LOT more money or give up PC gaming all together.

You'll never be able to account for developer code inefficiencies either.

    Here we go again.
GTX470 is slightly faster than Cypress and GTX480 about 15-20% faster.

Sure the new GTX cards aren't what Nvidia would want but they don't suck(and of course the competition is on)
    Ati will drop prices

Well...I do. And I don't even need to install the game, just the demo alone will keep me frolicking for hours on end. And when a single GPU can finally run Crysis well I'll probably get two of those lol. I've got a steel desk so it won't catch fire.

They are fake.First GTX480 won't have 2GB memory because of it's 384bit channel, second they are way too expensive.

XFX still sell nVidia cards but nVidia had a tantrum when XFX decided to introduce more options in their lineup and now XFX are no longer in the 'inner circle'.

If those prices are real then WTF? nVidia Fans are welcome to sell a kidney, just to buy a 480, and AMD will be laughing, as they take even more market share.

    ROFLMAO

the wiki says it's 195 watt for the 470 and 225 for the 480, the info snuck on there a few days ago when some other info came out, I think it sounds about right, after were saying that they were trying to get the 480 under 225, that was a long time ago, they may well have achieved it.
