as for SKYRIM...enhancing the in-game MSAA with SGSSAA does do nothing except blures the image and cut performance. so we need a better solution fo SKYRIM. because the ingame AA are truly sucked...

Dead Island? 0x0000F0C1 2xSSAA will do the trick...mine do.

In regards to Skyrim I have found the only way to get transparent aa working is to enable either TrSSAA or SGSSAA and leave "Antialiasing - Mode" to the default Application Controlled, they both seem to work as per usual in that configuration.

I wouldn't force Transparency AA through control panel/Inspector because it makes Khajiit faces see-through, and supposedly for some other models as well.

If you want to see what I mean, enable it, and start a new game, and when you get to select character click on Khajiit and their head is transparent.

    I just run 2xSSAA.

yeah...bummer. MSAA transparency so nice...especially on trees and grass.
enhancing the in-game AA with SS transparency with default flags are also not do any good...but it blurs the image and reduces performance. best option right now is an in-game 4X or if u wanna stick with some transparent-missing textures but better quality, u can try enable MSAA transparency in NVIDIA Inspector.

once again, we need a better solution/flag for AA in SKYRIM.

well...like i wrote - "they are all no good for me"

1280x720 - too low...try higher ones for better image quality. if ur monitor can't support higher resolutions - downsampling it by create custom one in NCP.

how can you enable your new custom resolution in game? - by choosing it in main menu in-game display options.

I don't know what I changed but after the first time seeing it happen to a Khajiit and also to another animal (a yak?) it has stopped happening, I did have bTransparencyMultisampling and iWaterMultiSamples set but turned them both off as they didn't seem to be doing anything, since then there's been no problem, I'll definitely test the new game thing though.

Update: I can't seem to get the bug to happen again, I've reran the character selection screen many times, as well as visit the travelling Khajiit outside Whiterun, no luck.
