I fail to see the difficulty in distinguishing those two products. I actually really dont see much of a problem with the amount of cards they have released either - remember, its the board partners causing the confusion with their numerous variations of the exact same models.
I must be honest It hurts me to think of something that beats my beloved 8800GTX I've always had a feeling that oddnumbered GeForce generations suck, that's why I decided to buy the 8800 and wait for the 10 series for an upgrade Now I see all this talk of 10 series coming out in early 2009 and the stupid 9900s with the GX2 with 380GB/S Bandwidth I wanna CRY :'( SOMEONE CLEAR THIS UP! >.<
