spent all night testing the 76.41's on an overclocked A64, came here to see if there was anything more recent than the 76.41's (which have been VERY good on my SLI setup)

will report back in a bit with complete set of benches (same exact hardware setup as in my system specs over there, same gpu/cpu overclock etc, only change is fresh XP install and the 76.45's)

been lurkin at these forums/website forever getting my drivers, finally decided to give my little unimportant bit of input!

Nalu is always missing some textures of the top light when using any 7x.xx forceware drivers.

when I'm using 71.89 driver fps on Nalu (All Setting Max) is about 18 after installing 76.44 and 76.50 only got 15-16 fps

lol yeah SLI is a rip off no games will use that for now, not intill the end of 2006 or 2007 cuz one gfx card give u nice fps. but 2 gfx that killing it. if u play doom 3 its lock on 60 so if u have 2 6800 GT u will will get 60 max.

In my opinion 71.89 is a superior driver.

IQ is much better in 71.89 then 76.45 - just run the CS Stress test and see how much more shimmering you get.

Also, I went down from 176fps to 165fps in the stress test, it seems to "hitch" in certain spots. (1280x960 4xAA/8xAF Reflect ALL)

Yes I get the popping noise too, but usually only when I have the system overclocked.

yep, popping here too in SH3

Yeah.. the 76.xx drivers give me popping in "Silent Hunter 3" in particular. I have an Audigy 2 ZS and tried every known 'popping' resolution under the sun, however 71.89 eliminated the popping, but then Gothic 2 became unplayable, also 71.89 was quite a bit slower for me in my Racing Sims (rFactor and GTR)...

Its hard to win and get a great driver for all games it seems, I guess thats why we keep coming back for more :D

I ran them for around 4 hours in Everquest II yesterday evening.
Performance seemed to be much smoother than 71.89 and I had none of the issues I had with 76.44.

So far these seem (for me at least) to be about the best drivers for EQ2.

Omg it seems like you need a different driver for each application, lol, Nvidia should combine the best features of them all and make an ultimate driver instead of a daily release of betas!
