Nvidia 456.38 update only 60 fps Scanline sync on 144hz

    Hello,
    after the new update from Nvidia Driver i got only 60 fps ingame ( tested Rocket League and Valorant )
    on my 144hz Monitor, before i got 144 fps, i dont know the problem.

    turn off adaptive sync / vrr on the monitor if you want the full range on the 456 driver, or go back to the last driver.

    this should be resolved in the next driver.

    does windows 8.1 even have vrr? adaptive sync is not on in nvidia settings

    good point, i think its supposed to be windows 10 only, but that might mean nothing in the face of a bug that seems to have broken it on 10 anyway.

    i like nvidia reflex for valorant, so i hope the next update will fix it,
    ty for your help

    edit: it works when i make a custom resolution with 145hz

    Check your Nvidia control panel display settings — I don’t recall the exact name of the tab in the Ncontrol panel, but for me when I updated my driver it defaulted my refresh back to 60 and I had to manually set it to 144 in the Nvidia control panel.

    I fixed the same issue when using the 460.20 drivers.
    Check dxdiag.. will see some other updates a few other things. You will notice WDDM 2.9, feature levels 12_2 and dx ultimate enabled.

    no you won't, as 456 is a wddm 2.7 driver.
