I was just hoping there was another update to these drivers... I upgraded my 20h1 install to insider build 19546, updated the drivers with windows update and I still don't get the option to enable GPU scheduling with the 450.12 DCH. /sadpanda

So much for that,.. looks like nvidia really crippled Maxwell when it did lol

well, this 980ti is still going strong at 1.4Ghz, I will keep it until 3000 series for sure :)

Tried these for a couple hours with my 2080Ti on 1909 and had some odd stuff going on with HDR, so I'm on 442.01 for the next little while. @-Tj- 980Ti is still the 28nm monster, it will never die! I've got my Asus Strix liquid metal'd in my secondary PC @1.45GHz and the fans hardly ever turn on. :)

Yup, cleaned everything with DDU and manually, no GPU scheduling for my rtx 2070. I had the option with the 445.x.

They might very well have decided not to support it on Maxwell but I still wonder where that information about WDDM 2.7 and the supported cards is coming from.

No source isn't good. Right now it might as well be a layman having put together that information mainly from Microsoft's DirectX Developer Blog, possibly filling out the rest with hearsay.
The information about Mesh Shaders and DXR Tier 1.1 is on the Developer Blog but there's nothing about Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling AFAICS.

Another user reported it worked with Standard version and not DCH, so maybe you need to DDU and install the standard version instead. Proof below.
    Download link for standard:

Windows 10 2004 (19041) with a GTX 1060 here and this WDDM 2.7 driver is the best so far with hardware scheduling enabled.

No issues with video, games or streaming.

I also have Intel UHD 630 with WDDM 2.7 driver 27.20.100.7738 on my second monitor and no problems there either.

Arighte. GPU scheduling finally decided to show up after upgrading drivers instead of doing clean installs 442.x -> 445.x -> 450.x go figure.

Anyone care to do benchmarks with hardware scheduling enabled/disabled for minimum and average framerates?

    Inquiring minds want to know.
