Thanks for the info.
Are there plans to reintroduce that option in future versions?
Question to Nvidia and to everyone when officially the 435 driver comes out, is it necessary to reinstall it, or can you stay on the 435.80 driver further?
Your still months away from its release IMO, so it would be a newer version.
Reread the posts above Manuel, he said that the next driver will be from a new branch and it will be 435 in August or September as certified.
Probably not any more 'necessary' than any other driver depending upon your needs. I'd hazard to say it will also not be the same driver version.
The main thing for me is that the next Nvidia driver is stable, it is better to release a driver once a month and that it be of high quality than five times a month I have very high expectations for a 435 driver.
To those who have reported flickering, i can confirm that too, in GOW4 atleast.
Bad driver branch in my experience, both 435.27 and .80 drivers were causing me instability in Windows (freeze) and various instability crash in GTA 5, Rage 2 and Forza Horizon 4 (for this one even artifact and corrupted lights). Reverted to the stable release and everything returned ok!
My graphic card is a RTX2080 Strix O8G from Asus.
Anyone experienced this behaviors?
Wait for the official release of the 435 family of drivers, all bugs will be fixed.
Nope on windows 1903 you should check your OS for faulty errors not the driver imo
I can assure you that it's not my Windows 10 installation the faulty one.
There is another similar report if you see above, my Windows installation was brand new when I installed this driver set. Now explain me why with 431.68/70 everything runs smoothly and the stability is over the top.
It can happens with video drivers, for example I bougth less than a month ago a new Asus laptop with an i7-8565U with Intel UHD Graphics 620. With the Intel Graphics driver preinstalled all was going ok, then I upgraded to the newest release (126.96.36.19900) and sometimes it crashes when i reproduce some video content on internet. I tried to make a clean install with DDU, same thing happening.
I just need to wait for a bugfix, in 20 years using computer I'm not surprised about this.
to use this or 435.27? I want the lag input reduction
Only 435.27 has that option. I'm using it now for over a month and I didn't notice any real issues with them @ win 19h1
turn off threaded optimization and set prerender frames to 1,
there, now you've got input lag reduction.
You will likely want the new driver.
Can you share more details?
EDIT: Nevermind I see your feedback.
Need more details for the other issues but as for the Forza Horizon 4 bug, we should have a fix in the next driver as we are currently in the process of testing the fix.
Only bug I had with these and the 435.27 was YouTube videos was stuttering like hell in fullscreen. Someone had the same problem and said to disable some settings in firefox config, but that made my cpu go grazy.
Has anyone else had this problem. I have G-Sync monitor btw.
In this new driver branch we are allowing the operating system to make variable refresh rate requests. Unfortunately the OS is calling for variable refresh rate for Firefox which leads to the stutter. We should have a workaround for the next driver.
