In case of witcher 3 it's dithering and it's "normal".

CDProjekt used dithering for shadows and transparency since first RED Engine iteration in Witcher 3.

    As for BF4, i don't really know.

not sure if DSR or win10 issue.

crysis 2 low gpu usage in certain spots with DSR only. happens with all drivers, tested 347.52 and 355.98

Can someone who knows about DSR, tell me when DSR is enabled on native 1920x1080p TV with Display Scaling option, do I need to select Aspect Ratio mode for it to work properly ? because that's what people need to do with the Gsod program or whatever Downscaling program name it's called.

If I have only GPU scaling mode on my laptop, is there any difference ?

Because whether it's Display or GPU , Scaling will cause more lag input ?

Do I need to select Override the scaling mode set by games and programs too whether Aspect Ratio selected?

DSR is always performed on the GPU via a custom downscale shader no matter what you select where. It makes no difference if you select aspect scaling or not because all DSR modes always have the same aspect as you desktop resolution.

DSR scaling does add a bit of lag as the overall processing time for each frame goes up but this lag is generally well hidden behind the bandwidth limitation in most of DSR mode - so you may as well consider the scaling shader to be "free". After all it's not that intensive even when it's not hidden by memory latency.

As for "Override" checkbox - I've yet to see any application where switching this option would make any kind of a difference.

This is an ugly effect by the game, not driver's fault.

Are you sure this isn't just the function to make foliage transparent near to the camera to get a better view?

Never thought about using DSR on my TV. Might check it out now that I don't have SLI anymore. Wonder if the driver will be so clever to remember DSR settings each time I switch over to the TV.

DSR settings are the same for all connected displays. You can change the resolution in game though.

did a little MSAA vs MFAA benchmark in dirt rally with these drivers.

ultra preset at 2376x1485 (2x DSR).

    2xMSAA, 4xMFAA, 4xMSAA, 8xMFAA, top to bottom:

356.04 are way better than these after trying both sets running my old rig now relegated to text editing and some CUDA subtitling with a Kepler GPU and running games in my gaming rig with a Maxwell card, stability and min fps / GPU drops no longer a concern but still a bit of stuttering compared to mighty 347.25.

Agreed, if you're experiencing some problems simply try the 356.04 dev drivers.
