Are you being purposefully obtuse? Can you please answer a simple question? Does this specific driver include the Kepler fix in all OSes for which it was released for? A simple yes or no, if you could, please.

 

Probably easier just to install them and test for yourself but from what Manuel said I think the Kepler optimizations are in this driver.

Well, there is no alleged. They admitted to some Kepler performance issues they fixed. But seriously, taking a picture of your screen? Ha ha.

 

I don't think it's too much to ask to have an nvidia rep confirm in no uncertain terms that his company, which had already surreptitiously nuked their product before, included a fix for this in the currently released driver. No one here expects their cards to outperform Maxwell or whatever else is coming in the future. People do expect to have their products work as designed however, without nvidia purposefully messing with them to undermine their performance.

How is that entitlement, exactly? Or is expecting a company to be fair, honest and forthright somehow too much these days?

I'm on windows 10 64 pro, no particular issues but my clock speeds are still on max even when not playng....

 

i had the same problem, i found out that shadowplay causes this problem.

Start with unistalling software u installed for your video card.

Start with dissable shadowplay then uninstall GFE till you found the software who causes the conflict.

 

i don't use geforce crap tool. so is not related to it.
Just one thing i noticed. As i install drivers with ddu, install,than reboot first time, the clock work as intended. At next rboot the clock get stuck at full speed. If anyone has a clue of this? i know precision can cause this, but is not installed to prevent, i have msi afterburner, but uninstalling it didn0t solve. I didn't install anything new from the update from windows 8.111, except drivers...no clue at all

 

Clean install windows 10.

 

Most of the performance issues in the Witcher 3 are dependent on time of day. For example, go to the village of Fayrlund in Ard Skellig (the big island), and go to the edge of the forest. Meditate till it's 6:00pm and for whatever reason, that time of day in that particular area always results in a frame rate drop.

It's not a bug. MFAA does not currently work when SLI is enabled. They claim it's under development, but for how long is yet to be known.
