I have the cursor corruption bug also since 353.50 installed.
Happened on 10166 and 10240. 353.49 and prior are fine.

Here we are with RTM about to hit the masses and we have widespread critical bugs in WHQL drivers??

The bug is in 353.50 which is being pushed via Windows Update.

No WU driver this end, I even manually told it to search for one via WU and device manager

Maybe they're not for the 980

I installed those drivers with WU and I got this cursor bug.

highly doubt that, both my SLI 750M GT laptop and Titan X desktop got the update. I haven't checked my HTPC yet (uses GTX 760), but I get the corrupt cursor only when typing.

For me the cursor is corrupt always under any event including "normal".

    Eg:
    wasteofcash.com/cursor.jpg

The cursor is stretch vertically and looks interleaved.

Really odd that some people get this driver and some don't.

Played Witcher 3 last night using Titan X SLI.

Worked great, didn't seem to drop a frame at 4k (hairworks off)

These drivers have thumbs up from me, except the minor cursor issue.

Also have the cursor issue, otherwise no problems with these

No driver push here, either. On 10240.

Yeap its microsoftbamas fault forced nvidia icafe driver **** on our installs I THINK BEST SOLUITION IS JUST BLOCK IT AND INSTALL 353.49 until a real release comes. Cant even tweak nv_disp.inf from downloaded update cab. Most worfless WU fail yet almost as bad as driver no longer worked with hybrid SLI.

Just Windows Key R Services.msc and stop and disable Windows Update Service for a couple days after you upgrade to build 240 until we hear back from manuelG or check this thread for when the new forced driver comes out... check back here hopefully someone leaves a message.

driver pop'ed up for me in windows update for my Titan X's but my other system running a 980TI didn't get the update. seems pretty random to me

getting some choppiness and screen corruption with these drivers. but other than that working normally for me on RTM build win10.

I think Nvidia pulled the driver from WU(due to the cursor bug), i'm not getting it on build 10240, only installs 353.30 even with DDU clean. In fact, i'm not getting a update at all for a driver and it just installs it automatically even if I said DDU to disable automatic driver installation

ManuelG, we need a WHQL driver from Nvidia, not WU. WU doesn't include CUDA, and the latest WHQL driver from the Nvidia website for Windows 10 doesn't include TDR fixes.

I heard somewhere there's a new standalone driver coming for all OS's(like 353.30) very soon.

All I know is tweaked inf 353.49 is faster than 353.50 icafe driver anyway and yeah i was getting some slight flicker with that forced icafe driver. Sent an email to Mark Russonivich about insider preview forcing updates with ms account login also forced.

Solution::: disable Windows Update via Services.msc until further notice after you update to build 240 then install 353.49 dont worry about .50 its not worth your time i think its mobile drivers only sure you might get higher frames but its also flickery because its designed for mobile gpus mobile gpus also have fewer resources so the graphics are also likely less complex.
