    From release notes:
*Up to 19% with Transparency AA (1920x1200 4xTrSS – measured in Crysis)*

Does anyone know if this means the Transparency AA increase is only for supersampling transparency AA?

No change for fallout 3 stuttering issues that started after 19x. Lotro performance seems slightly better though i dont have any numbers to back this.

dont know if you know this, but fallout 3 apparently has problems with quad cores.

    http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/20199-fallout-3-windows-7-w-quad-core.html

i did that, and it worked wonders for me.

on topic, these drivers seem pretty good, no game crashes and noticing higher fps in bad company 2 :D

Yep this driver is awful for GTX 295 users, a ton of microstuttering. I recommend sticking with 197.45 for now. Everything was fine and dandy once I downgraded back to those.

And I think all those performance increases are for 400 series only.I got hardly any and my vantage score was lower.

I dont know if this has been brought up yet, but my 9800GT is working with PhysX, even without having vga cable attached to the card? This ATI+Physx systems im talking about, hopefully it keeps working after reboot as well? I doubt it. But atleast PhysX Mod 1.3 still works fine? :)

Did you try the fullscreen=1 setting in the game settings??

Incredibly more consistent fps in source games and my minimum in GTA4 APB BBC2 etc. are definitely up as a result control is much smoother...

Nah, he's probably referring to the problem when looking at certain stuff. Especially Megaton has these mini-freezes, and usually when you look up as well. There hasn't been a single 'fix' that works for that particular problem except some 18x.xx drivers. (I have it too)

OT: Drivers are indeed quite good. Some minor performance increases, no other problems except for a disappearing profile while messing with it. Fixed that by restoring driver defaults though.

i dont get it, i have a gtx260 and i thought these drivers only improve performance for the new gtx480 and 470, but dang i got a serious boost of speed in bad company 2 and crysis wars.

I think for anyone without the 400 series this driver will not improve much for you but it has fixed all my problems including long load times in BF2 went from 40+ secs to 10 secs to join a game I LOVE the 480 all the bad hype it got at first discouraged me but with these new driver updates im very confident Nvidia will only continue to improve for the 400 series!!!

Me too, but i just manually install the PhysX_10.02.22_9.10.0222 ones afterwards, and all is fine.

massive performance increase in AVP for me, as much as 40fps, theres a point in the game where i used to get around 80 now its 110-120, also i'm noticing better image quality in this game. ;)

let me remind you this isn't WALL STREET.

also who are you to tell us to stop it? mind your own business and stop being so rude, this is a general driver thread about the new drivers and we'll post whatever we think is right as long as it's within the thread topic. :eek:rder:

don't like it, don't enter. simple.

meh i spoke to soon , they stutter a bit just like 197.xx.. especially in 16player raids, back to 195.62 lol

    but they're keepers in win7 64bit.
