Nvidia 1050 MAX-Q drivers

Hi,
Just got my self MSI PS42 8RC 14" laptop . it is thin light and enough for soem light gaming.

my Windows version is 1809. my nvidia driver version is same what MSI official web site is; 399.21.

i downloaded :

417.35-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql-rp driver manually. it wont install. it belongs to 1050 laptop driver from nvidia official website.

i downloaded :

Geforce Experience version 3.16.0.140. Let it download drivers automatically. yet it keeps saying: This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Window.

I googled around and tried some fixes but still same. Don't know ; maybe the MAX-Q driver latest is my version but shame nvidia does not have a separate download for MAX-Q units.

its bug in win, again , not in nvidia
but for me ,fortunetly, working good with 1060MQ all drivers

So you can use latest drivers ? is there a work around that i am not aware of please?

 

i have in NB latest .35 driver without any problem
but its well know bug

15" i supose is very good nb
my advice is try some driver and you see what happened
strangly no problem for me

 

But which product you have chosen? 1060 mobile? i just tried 1050 ti still windows version message. such poor low issue of the system.

 

Did you by accident install the DCH version of the drivers?

 

DCH? i did nothing it was preinstalled already. what DCH stands for?

DCH driver is an updated package model for Win10, which uses UWP apps.

 

Did you uninstall the old drivers through Add/Remove Programs before installing the new ones?

 

I just able to install the first link. and Geforce experience is showing i have 417.58. how this is even possible? where did you get these lnks? why i normal consumer like myself cant reach those links. Thank you very much. let me BENCH with 3dmark 2011.

The second link is to 417.58 Hotfix driver, so you must have that one installed. The DCH driver is typically distributed using Geforce Experience, which I don't have installed, so I make my own download links for WHQL releases. When they post Hotfix links, they include the DCH one.

They should make DCH WHQL driver easier to find w/o GFE.

and i dont have Control Panel of Nvidia. why? i can do without it i guess.

 

With those DCH drivers you need to download the nvidia control panel from windows store, its now an app
