NVHArdPage has nice tweaks

Too bad nobody talks about this great utitlity. I just started using it, and there are tweaks and features not found in other utilities like Riva or Powerstrip.
NVHardPage has great features! Check it out.

 

What does NVHP do that Rivatuner doesn't?

 

force textures to lowest mip level

 

Eh..
RT does that too..
Can set lod to + or - 15.
Same thing.

Always looking for a newer, faster, better tweak util though..
Haven't found it yet.. Been using RT for years.

 

LOD is not the same thing, besides NVHP gives you + or - 24 LOD.

Dont get me wrong, I love Riva too.

 

Hmm it seems that some settings done by me dont work , i want to enable

"Force 16 Bit Z Buffer"

But it does not work : (

 

Yes, this settings work only with old cards and old drivers ...

 

ye i like the features in nvpage aswell but it has no pipeline unlock or vertex shader unlock

So there is NO WAY to enable Force 16 bit Z Buffer At a 6600 GT ???

 

NO WAY ... but you have great card, I think its better looking for quality enhancements, not for speed, because your card is powerfull

how about forcing 24 Z ?

I remember my TNT 2 having the 32 z buffer usability. It is hard to believe we can`t just force a z buffer type by now on ANY card. 16/24/32.
