Hello. Sometimes, I receive this error during the game, "Nvidia Driver has stopped working and was recovered". I'm using latest drivers for my videocard 8800 GTS, 162.22 and the operating system is Windows Vista 64. I play the game on 1280x1024 on Directx 10 mode and high details and runs fine on my system ( Core Duo , 2 GB Ram and 8800 GTS). How can I solve my problem ? This problem appear only at me or it's a known problem ? Thanks'.

Its a known issue and nvidia say it will be fixed in a later release.I use the 158.45 betas these are trouble free in that regard.I use vista 32 bit by the way so i cant vouch for the 64 bit but give em a try.158.45 for vista 64 http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1652

Mail a friend send me when I got this issue again

Related to amd_sata.sys AHCI 1.2 Device Driver from Advanced Micro Devices.

I would run a system file check (just to verify the OS) and go to the computer mfr and see if there is a newer driver. I would also see if there is a newer BIOS

To run a system file check (SFC)
Go to start>type CMD>right click and run as administrator> Type SFC /scannow

let us know what it says at the end.
You may have to run this up to 3 times.
