If i try any 50's drivers it like 50 idle and in the 70's at load so if you can prove my wrong please do but i think that you guys are running hot...... [IMG]

Speed runner is a OC utility for Leadteck Cards. It cames with winfox.I doubt that will work with other manufacturers, but you can always dowload the program at the Leadtek website

Well on idle its around 42, and at full load around the 68 mark, so not bad well inside safe temps...How did you manage to oc it so far, if i do that the card doesn't like it..

    Hi,

overclocking is ALWAYS a matter of luck.

I have a Leadtek A350Ultra THD MyVivo, too, and even though i have
extensive cooling (GPU watercooled, Ram with heatsinks & 2 casefans blowing at)
i can't get my card any higher than 530 GPU and 955 ram.

Heat is not a problem, as my card has idle-temps of arround 30°C
and load-temps of no higher then 43° after hours of 3D-games.

How well your card overclocks is always a thing of luck getting a good one.

    I havent noticed any temp-differences between 45.33 and 52.16/52.70,
but it could be very well that this is due to my watercooling, which realy
puts a lot of heat away easily.

yea the 2 fans on the leadtek are driver controlled so the drivers tell the fans what speed to run at what time and the new drivers suck at it, but leadtek makes there own drivers and they are good but the new one mess up on COD so i cant use them so i just stick with the ones that came with the card till they fix there drivers. I wrote to leadtak and they are working on the problem so they should have an update out soon.... (I Hope) :D

    Hehe,

fortunatly my Ultra came still with the NVIDIA-reference cooler design.

So i just could take of the GPU-cooler and replace it with my waterblock,
while leaving the sinks on the ram and have my side-casefans
    blow straight over them :D

The silver coffin of the later Leadtek ultra-cards is said to be a pain
in the ass. The fans are way louder then the NVIDIA-reference, and
if you manage to get the silver package off to watercool your
GPU, you need to buy additional heatsinks for the ram.

tried them. uninstalled them. although they give a "bit" better performance. the IQ was down on my card compared to the 52.16's :(

Ugh...these drivers started out good. But upon further usage, my desktop wigged out, and Star Wars Galaxies kept kickin' me to desktop.

dude its not the drivers, morrowind uses a very poor engine performance wise.
if it was the drivers dont you think nvidia would have fixed the performance problems by now? ;)
accept it morrowind will always run like crap.

    Morrowind problems

I'm using a 5900 Ultra on a P4 2.66. On every driver version 52.xx and above there is a major stuttering problem when entering new areas and a 3-8 second delay when opening your inventory(also happens on clicking on items and pretty much all property menus) and then on each item you select. It seems that there is a ram caching bug in the 52.xx's series of drivers in Morrowind. 45.33 and below work great. Many people in the Morrowind forums and here have identified this bug and nvidia said they were going to investigate it. This is not a Morrowind engine issue although it does have its issues.

Here is a couple of the threads on the elderscrolls forum about 52.xx problems:

You can find multiple threads here and at nvnews.net regarding these problems. Again, 45.xx and below work fine in MW. Dude, it is the drivers.
