Normal temperatures for Sapphire Radeon X700 PRO (128Mb)?

    Sapphire Radeon X700 PRO (128 MB)
    At the moment GPU temperature is +52 celsius and GPU Ambient is +48. Is this way too high and will my GPU die with those temperatures? BTW, the card is brand new, installed it today.
     
  2. I used to have one too, in my backup PC, and your temps look fine with stock cooling. The heat sink on them is really sub par though. As long as it dosen't go over 90C during games you should be OK. Remember that ATI's GPUs tend to run a bit warmer, but are made for it. The R410 like its big brother GPUs (R430, R423, and R480) is rated to handle 100C before it shuts down.
