No sound from GTX 295

    im tring to get sound from pc to tv
    i have a gtx 295 hdmi to hdmi with a lg 47" led
    in cp it should audio enabled but the sound still comes from the pc speaker
    what am i doing wrong here?
    am i missing another cable or is hdmi to hdmi enough?
    i have k lite codec installed as well

    u need to plug the spdif cable from inside the pc from the 295 to the mother board or soundcard spdif. the cable was included with your 295. thats what the little port on the side of the power pins on the card is for. then in nvidia driver make sure sound thru hdmi is enabled.

    The GTX295 does not have sound out via the HDMI natively. As other pointed out, you'll either have to use the 2pin SPDIF pass through cable between your motherboard SPDIF header *if it has one* and the SPDIF connector on the top of your GPU.
