No SLI for GeForce GTX 1060 ?

    Because of the immense bandwidth required for two high end cards.

    They already said they don't want to saturate the PCIe bus like AMD cards do

    Couple lower end cards won't be able to max out a pcie 3.0 slot even at 8x

    I doubt the 1060 is going to do SLI over PCI-E bus. It requires dedicated hardware in the to do the Display Controller/Memory communication between GPU's if you want low frame pacing.

    I think the SLI option should be there as an option for people who cannot afford a high end graphics card and have a chance to upgrade later on adding a cheap second 1060 for SLI to improve their gaming experience and prolong the life of their gaming rigs , that's my personal opinion on this matter.
