    nope not that I could see wen I put it together

    there's no way I coulda put in the 4+4 pin extra power ATX connector in wrong or sumthin right?

    Have you got the RAM stick in a blue or white slot? The blues are the even and whites are the odd... if it's not already, try with the RAM in one of the blue slots..

    I've tried in several different ones, my manual says they go CPU-2nd-1st-4th-3rd-6th-5th so I tried in the one labelled first which is the 2nd from my CPU, it is a white slot, I'll try in the closest slot now but I have before

    I'd try all the blue ones seperately.. no harm trying.

    have access to another psu? you have Staples stores in the UK? buy a cheap antec to try? 30 day full return policy. bring it back for refund

    no luck, if Gigabyte really fixed the board sumthing shuld work

    expectin a case and PSU from a fellow Guru soon will try it out

    Were you actually looking for a bent pin? Depending on what angle you are looking at they could be hard to spot.

    I'm guessing I'm gonna have to RMA this b**** again, u guys think this is more likely a CPU or board issue, I'm think the latter for obvious reasons (I RMA'd it before)

    if its the cpu rma m/b would be a waste of time. hell it could be both the cpu and m/b worst case scenerio. any buds with a similar set up to check the cpu?

    nope lol I'm pretty much the only computer nerd I know, actually I kno 1 or two others that have Q6600s that's bout it, any point takin it all apart, if the CPU isn't seated correctly or something could it cause these problems?

    Theres a few guys over in the Gigabyte forums at Tweaktown that look to be having the same issue.
    One of them has a faulty board.

    Wtf, this makes me stop wating a gigabyte board..
    Hope u get this sorted m8.
    BTW MY asus maximusII formula died last nite while i was listening to music and the pc just frose and never came back on lol. Sent the board away for rma tho :)

    No because that meants its a £100 odd psu lost for a board that wasnt working in first place.. ANd Jae-so, i hope you sort this problem out. :)

    Well i dno, it was bought off happy on here and hes been so nice to agree to rma it for me :) i sent it away 2day :)
