No Optimization for Kepler (GTX780 - GTX780TI - TITAN etc. ) Banchmarks inside !

I still hate the AMD CCC but they have some extra features now that Nvidia is missing!!

The Tesselation slider was added back when Crysis 2 came out and AMD had horrible tesselation performance. That was the fix to get it playable on AMD hardware.

Seems like Nvidia needs to do the same now! :\

 

No, not "better", but if what people are saying in this thread is true, you could say better driver "longevity".

 

The tessellation level on Crysis was insane! I remember some videos in wireframe mode! Totally stupid... an insane amount of tessellation also at very high distance (you can't see it ofc).
It seems a trick for sell more "new" cards. Again.

 

I'm very worried about nVidia (I need to change card now, and I like GTX 980)... I like some of its features, but I hate its politics, too ambiguous/dark for me.
290X 8GB is a lot cheaper than 980... but atm Maxwell it seems better... but what will happens when Pascall will go out? :infinity::bang:

Any news on ETA for hotfix, can't find any info.

 

Nobody knows, but it may be a while imo as I think they had no plans to optimise kepler for the newest games that show the biggest differences between the 970 and 780ti. Just my opinion of course.

 

There is no official talk of a 'hotfix' driver as far as I can see. Might just come with the normal driver update in 2-4 weeks.

They are still working on a driver update, still no ETA though...

 

Would probably be next week at the earliest but likely 2 weeks out... unless this is a simple quick fix.

Nvidia has rarely announced driver release dates anyway.

 

i don't think the fix is simple, for now nvidia talks about fix ONLY for witcher 3.

We need a general fix for kepler low performance since 2014, it shouldn't end here.
