Got a few weeks off from work and finally got around to trying this game more now since all the updates. The camera shake was doing my nut in though so I remembered your post and tried it and the difference with the mod is so much better! Thanks again for the link man!

PS: Game seems really cool now, its fun to have so much stuff to discover and explore when coming from Elite Dangerous where every planet is a dull rock. I suppose ED is more realistic in that sense but it doesn't make a very exiting game for an explorer.

 

Imagine if EA treated just one video game the way Hello Games has this video game.

I stopped playing when it came out 1st day release after a while and waited for a patch and every time a new patch came out I restarted the game I stopped and I'm waiting for the final patch, year's later.......

 

So much updates but nothing real"good" added in game... same boring game

 

Then you need to mode it to even think of enjoying it, of course if you have no life(or job)and you need to waste time, then look no further!!!Update My Arse!

 

It was fun about 100h... after that it got boring. Now i have 160h and thats going to be it.

Looks pretty substantial, and fun.

 

There are also organic ships that can be sent out on missions.

 

Yet, despite of all the updates, you still run out* of things to do after 50'ish hours of gameplay.
*run out = Doing the same things over and over again, with very little to no new things to discover ...

The game is not boring, but it's also not very interesting after you went through it once or twice. Just same things repeating over and over again... until the next update

 

I ran in to that problem myself. No different to any other game in that respect. Building up planet colonies and adding more stuff to your own bases is a good sidetrack. And now there is frigates to add crew and building blocks. Higher density of asteroids too.

 

Some nice changes for the VR people.

The amount of added content since the very rocky release has been hugely impressive. Literally hundreds of hours added, and all for free.
