Gained 1-2 FPS in Resident Evil 5 on my killer 4850.
Has ATI fixed the inability of the video encoder to use the graphics chip to encode video or does it still only use the CPU....
I use Vsync on Dirt 2 (which is the only game I've tried so far)
When there is a cloud of dirt, my fps goes down for about 20 fps (From 61 to 41 or so) So, that bug is still not fixed.
But, the IQ is the same i think.
What i did noticed is that it works smoother than before. Which is nice.
GPU usage is like 18%
CPU usage is like 35%
Tired of seeing people crying about their crossfire not working.....
Don't USE Crossfire/SLI IT SUCKS
Warning! Troll Detected!:biggun:
What do you know about Multi-GPU Configurations?
Anyone test rflair leaked 10.8beta with new VLC player ? Does the hardware acceleration work ?
Lots of problems....
Fake sense of fps
Are theese enough to stay away from Multi-GPU?
Man, these words, aren't arguments :wanker:
Man,they are for me.....Avoid crossfire/SLI and go single gpu
It is much better
Multi-GPU is much faster; and it's a fact.Give me some arguments/examples that single GPU system is much better than Multi-GPU system :eyebrows:
I would accept Multi-GPU only for Benchmarking, not gaming
So people with 3x 24" or even just 2x 30" monitors have no use for crossfire what so ever?.. i doubt even a 5970 (witch is crossfire anyway?) would deliver acceptable FPS when gaming any decent newer game, AVP, BFBC2, ect.. thats where crossfire shines..
And even i use crossfire, and i only have a 23" fullhd monitor, but since it's 120hz, i would like to be able to run 120fps at least in any game i fire up (not counting crysis) and if you want just a little eyecandy, 1 5870 will not push 120fps in bfbc2 or even AVP.
And issues with crossfire, is almost completely gone. Most of the time it's just minor things, and just 1 game, or 1 set of drivers. if you avoid the "bad" drivers, and dont care what date your drivers are, Crossfire will run like a dream.
Lol you try pushing a 2560x1600 screen with a single 5870....
Aint happening unless i want to play Solitaire ...
oh you mean like, the 2nd gpu clock bug , cfx profiles missing, micro stuttering , something like that no ?
I don't have that problems, on my system all it's OK.And if you have the problems with software part - I think this is temporary thing, wait for newer version or new fixes of drivers....
When the x86 version will be posted? Any improvments in this leacked drivers?
Got my highest score in Vantage with these so far:
Betas always comes with Mobility Drivers, atleast most of the time.
