It spammed about 200 entries of DWM every 2 seconds.

 

which is normal, the dwm is constantly active.

200 in 2 seconds is nothing, the affected users were seeing tens of thousands in that time span.

I don't think its that, because my monitor works ok after installing the drivers, including 4K resolution and HDR, its just after that DWM.exe crash when things are messed up, and only reboot helps until it comes back.
I appreciate the help tho, won't hurt to send my info I guess so thanks.

 

I suspect that even this week there will be neither a hotfix nor a new GRD

Either live with it or use an older driver, it's not like the world is going to end because of some weeks without a new driver.

You want to tell me that nVidia has gotten a Chip right out of the Future which is the Base of their technology and drivers? And they didn't know what they are playing with and so they built a computer system that is willing to take over the world and enslave the whole human being? Well then... I am from Europe... The same Ukraine who voted in an actor that goes on to thank the UK for support when the UK was one of the major players looking to destabilise Europe in the hope of a trade deal with the US? What could possibly go wrong?

You have two options -

• Surrender, then work things out at the table.
• Fight and watch the death toll rise, then surrender.

Maybe they are fixing more stuf and they are fixing it rather wait for good drivers instead of new driver next day hotfix now that is a bumer. Im stil with the 515.36 they perform good on my old 1060.

Several open issue of the latest version of Game Ready Driver have already been fixed, @ManuelG can confirm. But probably for hackers attack Nvidia is taking care of the security of its systems.

However, neglecting the users who own Gtx and Rtx GPUs by no longer releasing hotfixes or new drivers
