I want the "special edition" but i im not sure I bought nioh for 49$ on preorder and another 15$ for addons for PS4 and I bought for the PC when it was on sale on steam for 15$ I didnt think to force AF threw NVCP though of Nioh on PC I should do that. All the demo of 2 really did was make me want to go back and play nioh all over again. but i torn on which verison i should play pc or ps4 verison which still need 5 trophies for atlest for the main game Load times in nioh 2 are bit longer then nioh which tad confusing seeing nioh and nioh 2 look the same graphically on action mode on base ps4, IF i buy it for ps4 I will get for pc and frankly I would buy it for ps4 if i buy it for PC cause PS5 just around the corner and I will get that, which will solve the "action" mode looking like trash,

as expected the special editon still teases me, which at this point is only console thing for physcial editions,
yah I bought the special edition (physical) it gona look like ass on ps4 though, sadly there is no longer physical copies of PC games so getting special or collector edition of pc game in physical form is next to nill I will probably still buy it for the PC when ever it comes to PC, I do expect the PS5 when I get it to run this 1080p @60fps though
it does look better then nioh even in action mode, my complaint stems from the fact 720p in this day in age is unacceptable special when that 720p is target at 60fps and cant keep that. Movie mode look really nice but fact is lock at 30 fps and there are pacing and camera issue, pretty much make it so movie mode is unplayable by my standards. Now when I did have PRO which was short lived do to horrid coil whine they all suffer from. Action mode on PRO was 1080p for most part and much closer to the stable 60fps, Movie mode was still unplayable though, becuase 30 fps is no good for this type of game, and the pacing and camera issue where still there. It clearly not better look then Nioh on PC or Nioh 2 will be on PC seeing my PC can do 1440p @ 60 fps everything max it could even do 4k @ 60 fps IF I dropped some setting down from max. Got PS4 version simply cause special edition something you dont get on PC side of thing anymore or at lest I dont see anymore. Last Collector/special edition I remember ON PC was Skyrim with it dragon statue? I dont even think they make physical copies of PC game anymore maybe the smaller lesser know publishers still do?
that why I watched it After I bought it and not before The special edition booklet was smaller then I thought it would be.
Kind miffed I didnt get my preorder bonus stuff from special edition when I orders it from Amazon then again there alot people complain about that. that probably last thing on amazon todoo list I would like to say though that Action mode on base ps4 look to be running higher then 720p compared to the alpha and last chance trial, my eyes are not screaming this 720p horrid.
yeah , thats the impression i was getting also. overal its pretty good experience, very few distractions.
latest patch 1.05 is out patch notes here : https://www.psu.com/news/nioh-2-update-1-05-patch-notes-confirmed/
I Noticed, I think they fixed? the issue with Trophies notifications, cause all sound in the game to cut off, and cause lil studder , with the patch I have not see that issue since update
I thought this was funny I preorder Nioh when Newegg and I didnt get promised Promotional DLC content, and talk to newegg multiple time was told to contact sony they told to talk to newegg, that went on for while before i finally got some someone to fix that and email me the promotional codes. So wanting to Avoid that I got Nioh2 from Amazon same thing happen again. I finally got promotial code though. next time I preorder game I do at gamestop (shudder the thought) they tend to be last place I want to buy games from.
