I really hope they will release info about a PC version soon, as that is the version i want to play. PS4's version of the first game didnt cut it for me. The PC version was way better. About this video, man they added so many effects and additional moves for enemies. the armor is so shiny as well. These devs are great! really looking forward to it.
It almost here, I surprised I not seen topic for it, I not gona lie Nioh is my most played PS4 game 1000+ hours and that was before i bought again for PC, only other ps4 game that comes close is MGS 4 TPP which probably only 200 hours give or take. Only other game I own that has more hours into is skyrim. I never under stood the hate nioh got cause imo the combat is insanely fun, it might of had cheap ai mechanics and ridiculously hard difficulty that turn people off. or maybe the whole theme turn them off, but it my favorite ps4 period. Sekiro got good reviews and liked the them so i got it to, but imo sekiro combat to to simplest and dont hold candle to nioh. after 10 hours with sekiro i basically stopped play cause i just didnt like the combat

hah so you did, I even posted in it, it must of got buried Nioh 2 is more of Nioh and that is great thing. Only thing I hated bought it on ps4 was it has to be played at 60fps which mean action mode which ment 720p if that on base ps4 pro, was much closer to the 60fps with 1080p in action mode. bought 2nd time for pc just to have 1080p 60fps/1440p 60fps and dont regret it. other then fact good quality "pc" controllers are hard to find. I wish ps4 controllers had native support on PC
played the beta on ps4 and i didn't like the response delay , horrible stuff i'll skip it until PC version comes out
Yeah there are no drivers yet. you either need DS4windows windows inputmapper or steam to play with them. inputmapper is working on drivers for them, but there is still a long way to go for them to run flawless. myself im using ds4windows since you can enable to lightbar how full the battery still is (green is full , red empty, works like a gradient). Still needed fiddling with HID guarding to get the controller to work exclusively for ds4 windows though, so it is a bit of a mess indeed.
I liked the first Nioh so i´m going to buy this one too. But i´m gonna wait for a nice price drop because after i´ve fineshed the first the game had nothing else to offer and i nver played it again.
replay value is endless considering how you can customize your weapons and armor and change playing style imo

my stance stands Nioh and Nioh 2 can not be play in movie mode on ps4 base or pro cause 30 fps just dont work for this game, and Action mode is ugly on the base but atlest is 60fps or kind near it cause I think Nioh runs better in action mode on ps4 base then Nioh 2, but I just cant get enough of the last chance trail, I will probably break down and buy it for ps4 and then again when out on pc like nioh Not fan of dark realm and fact it suck up your stamina like a vacuum
i all honesty I played crap out all the nioh alpha/beta/last chance trails as did I will nioh 2, just kinda sad that the way the game is ment to be played and needs to be play 60FPS it look like blurry trash. Movie mode might be playable if they fix the jitters in the camera rotation which is a problem in nioh to regardless of base vs pro cause movie mode is looked and 30 fps and variably dont really stay any where near 60 anyway. 30 FPS is playable only when there isnt framepacing issue and gitter in the games camera rotation which nioh and nioh 2 have both of, Action mode on pro is very close to what I get on my pc, sadly i dont have pro and I wont get one less i win one or something like that. there is huge diffrence between 720p and 1080p with this game.
yeah i know, i play it on action mode as well. i get eye strain these days with 30fps. I tried Nioh 1 on PC again today , lost my save so I played for a while, defeated a few bosses (up to the ice lady with the butterflies) , and it was so smooth. I also force 16xAF and high quality through Nvidia control panel, then set -3.0 DX LOD. looks great then. It is so hard to resist a buy right now , i really want to play nioh 2 and not wait a year again ? last time they released it on pc after the 3rd DLC. and i saw that they will make 3 DLC for this game as well. anyways , it was very cool to play the demo this weekend. it felt much better then the previous one which felt kinda broken or unfinished in a way.
