Wonder if the no docking is hardware or software restricted.
If it'd have done docking i'd be tempted to swap mines, since i'm not overly bothered with hd rumble as I own a pair or joycons and a pro controller.
A Switch, that doesn't switch .. OK ..
Another new switch with better battery life was just announced.
Also, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 comes out exclusively for the Switch this Friday.
Its true it doesn't quite fit into the naming scheme, however the brand name is so strong now they would be silly to call it something else. The Wii U on the other hand was just completely misadvertised from the start and people thought it was a controller upgrade for the original Wii. This branding for the Switch Lite makes perfect sense. Keep the same name as it plays the same games, but give it the "lite" moniker which has been used in the past and describes its a cut down version.
This thing will sell by the truck load in places like Japan and China, not to mention for families with multiple children. Parents can now buy 2 of these for not much more than a single original switch.
Agreed, but I still think that it could have been better if for example, it had the option to connect to the TV with just a dongle, not a dock. And sell that dongle in a bundle with the Pro controller – only for those interested in the function, but not inflating the price of the console itself.
