Here it is, a bit late, but still:
can sum1 compare 163.16 & dese
jus got off XG 158.45 & 163.16 couple games (graw 2) don't work but 30-50% mo perf & IQ
Do you have a writing disability ? No ? Then grow up and write at least with a bit of decency in English please.
Seeing no one has the guts to try the driver, I'm going to check this one out.
What still not many people DL them and tried? lol well i have and i must say that again...GREAT JOB
Iv had so many probs with drivers for my 8800GTS 320, games like BF2/2142, FEAR and Half-life gave me tons of probs, untill i used the NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver v2.15822.
Iv not noticed any improvement from the last set of drivers yet but not tested many games. BF2/2142 Halflife 2 and FEAR do still work great so thanks again for these drivers
i LOVE their 2.15822 drivers. they are amazing for me.
anyone think these would be better?
hmmmm might try them later today.
But then he wouldn't be "gangsta" and would lose all respect in the hood yo.
Thanks for the driver gonna check it out now.
Yeah! he is a straight up G:smoke:
On the serious note, these are great drivers for my laptop running 8600GS, i like it:approval:
Gonna try it out.
Really really bad for me. Probably the worst set of drivers I have used in the past year. FPS went down by over 50% in the games I tried, and every single video I played was just black.
Did you uninstall the old driver correctly ??...50% lower can't be normal.
I always use DRIVER CLEANER PRO, works great !!
I will give these a try, you never know..thanks
I'll give these a shot with DiRT tomorrow.
Which forceware version is this based on? 162.18? 162.50? 163.16?
In other words it's based on the 162.18 release.
These drivers works perfect for me! Equal to the 158.22 release from NGO.
serious stability problems, despite the good performance
I ran the latest official Nvidias drivers before and tested the NGO driver this morning.
After a proper deinstallation of the old drivers I tested Armed Assault on a very hardware consuming map with lots of detail and found a huge step of about 20% in FPS gain.
But some nasty, never seen behaviour followed some seconds later.
ArmA froze and there was absolutely no chance at all to kill the application.
The PC was still reacting and other programs (taskmanager,...) could be executed on the second screen.
The main screen with the frozen ArmA remained displayed and did not react in whatever way (even no taskbar flipped up, nor the alt+tab icons would appear).
After a reboot I did a second try (wich turned out not to be the last, unfortunately).
ArmA ran like a charm and suddenly things went in an unwanted direction.
The graphics froze, the sound remained in realtime. A quick thought gave me the idea of using the video ram flush comand and i could rescue the application from crashing (the only time I could manage this).
The application did not run longer than 2 minutes per try.
The next times ArmA crashed in several unknown ways (freeze, CTD, initial reboot with remaining dead screens but running discs etc.):behead:
This is the nastiest behaviour I have ever witnessed on a PC until today.
The worst were the initial reboots without responding (I have forced windows to not reboot when a problem occures - so the problem here should be something very nasty).
I really would like to use these drivers as the performance gain seems to be quite big. Is there any way to get the driver running as rockstable, as the Nvidia drivers, I had no problem whatsoever with?
I Dont like this drivers at all, -500 Points in 3DMark05
Not what these drivers are for.
Gonna try these out now. Running the 162.50's now but no AA in HL2 or FEAR. Other than that, those were good drivers.
Will report back shortly with an opinion on these drivers.
Installed and running great. Good IQ and performance and I have AA back in HL2 and FEAR. Yeah!
