my css is a lil fux0red also, on a few maps (forgot names) i can see through vents, doors, and some buildings...what's suppose to be a door is clear with white lines outlining it...could just be the 5.8's or ngo, i'm not sure...

 

Regen... Is there any kind of misunderstanding between Via4in1 56 package, Radeon 9550XT from Gecube and Catalyst 5.x...My games freezes, stay a couple in freeze mode and then VPU recover do he's job and back in a game..After a while again and again..I am out of ideas..
/me thinks to through the pc out of balcony from level 5...

 

I have not noticed any problem with these drivers, in CS:S I play cs_office 24/7, looks great.

 

These are working great for me.

Games seem to run a bit faster and I.Q. is excellent.

Does the ultra mode bring any better performance for ppl with 256 mb cards?

 

i have an x800 pro, and between this and the original cat 5.8, i see a lil improvement in the IQ. some games seem smoother, but not the biggest performance boost. still, i prefer them.

 

These drivers really made it for my x700 pro 256mb. NO stuttering in the start of maps when playing Bf2, 15+ in avg fps. Ultra mode install.

 

you play BF2 with an average of 15fps, how on earth do you play it at such a low fps?

 

I think he meant in <b>increase</b> of 15 FPS on average.

Either way though it's hard to believe.

 

U sound like an NGO ad banner. Ur results are SO fake 15+ then who needs a x700xt? is either its a lie or NGO just blown ATI (cards not driver) with such a Pref increase
