    Our pal regeneration just released NGO ATI Optimized Driver v1.5.13 as always Guru3D.com mirrors his drivers.

    The NGO ATI Optimized Driver is a tweaked version of the ATI Catalyst driver. The main purpose is to satisfy the users with better performance and image quality. The Driver has support for all Radeon cards.

    Changes
    * Updated base to ATI Catalyst 5.13
    * Updated ATI Control Panel to v6.4.10.5173
    * Updated ATI Tray Tools to v1.0.4.780
    * Updated ATI Catalyst Uninstall Utility to v6.14.10.1014
    * Removed OpenGL Driver Switcher (it's now available in the files section)
    * Improved Control Panel behavior
    * Improved Installer
    * Improved support for some legacy cards
    * Improved OpenGL compatibility for Mobility/FireGL/IGP/XPRESS GPUs
    * Added support for X1800/X1600/1300 GPUs
    * Added support for more Mobility/FireGL/IGP/XPRESS GPUs
    * Rewritten tweak code
    * Pixel Shader code optimization
    * Enabled DMA Copy
    * Enabled KTX Buffer Region
    * Disabled Programmed PCI Latency
    * Enabled Adaptive Anti-Aliasing by default (Ultra Edition)
    * Enabled High Quality Anisotropic Filtering by default (Ultra Edition)
    * Automatic sets SystemPages for the optimal value
    * General bugfixes

    PCI Latency Tool
    We decided to include this handy tool so you could adjust the PCI latency in order to avoid PCI bus choking. It helps optimize performance and resolve stuttering and sound issues. It's recommended to set latency values to 64 for all your PCI/AGP Devices. This tool doesnt support PCI Express cards.

    Installation
    Please, uninstall your previous driver before proceeding with this Installation. Please use the ATI Catalyst Uninstall Utility in order to Uninstall your current driver.

    Ultra Edition
    The Ultra Edition is optimized for cards with 256Mb or more. It uses the ram in a more effective way in order to produce higher performance. It also may be used with 128Mb cards but don't expect the same level of performance gain.

    Standard Edition
    The Standard Edition is recommended for All Radeon cards. This edition is especially recommended for those users that can't use the Ultra Edition.

    i didn't make any benchmarks but i did check it on games and seems to be little improvment especially in source, UT2004 and Doom III and yeah the old control panel better then the CCC
    3DMARK 2003 shows 45 fps more from 2915 to 2960, great lol i got with softmod 5.11 drivers the funniest result 2999, LOL 1 BEFORE 3K.

    Ok, so basically which ones are the best:
    omega, ngo or dhzer0point? :)
    I never trusted these modified drivers for my old card, but now I feel like trying some of them :)
    Which would you guys recommend?

    ATT problem

    On my system there seems to be a problem with the ATi Tray Tools included in NGO, it always shows GPU/MEM clocks at 0MHz, while normal ATT works ok.

    And another thing please include the custom OpenGL Shaders in ATT.

    Performance wise i don't see any difference compared to 5.11Omega/5.12Omega/5.13

    Quality wise looks ok

    Its about takinjg the time to find what your system likes. Every system is different so what may work for someone else may not work for you. I suggest to try them all and see what your system likes. It takes time but worth it in the end.

    Make sure you use driver cleaner as well every time you uninstall and GL

    Ok in going to try these drivers as i have been a Omega fan since i found them about 2 years ago. Never had any reason to try others as i found Omega always worked great for the game im playing (mostly racing games) But know i have BF2 and looking for just a lil better performance.

    The problem im having is when the servers start to fill, over 30 players on a server, my frames drop into the 20's and even into the teens. Might just be upgrading to more ram but kinda dont want that right now as a new system is in the works soon.

    well,i installed my sapphire x800gto agp card. used ngo standard ati.513 with cp. in the device manager it has unknown device at the bottom. the unknown is the x800gto. i disabled the x800 gto secondary. is this suppose to say unknown device? also, i can't launch 3d mark03 or aquamark. do i have to uninstall and reinstall these to run with this x800gto. i replaced my evga 5900se. i used drivercleaner pro and the cab cleaner in safe mode. and deleted any folders with evga and nvidia.....thanks...
